I Cross My Heart - Jack Champion

Day 9

Dear Diary,

       I don't have too much on my mind. We filmed yesterday and it was super fun. Not to mention since I posted a Tiktok of Jack, i've been blowing up. Which is crazy. I've never had that happen to me before. I mean it's obviously because of Jack but whatever. I'm super nervous for filming today but the good news is Jack is taking me on a date today and I'm really excited. I'll have more to write about tomorrow. Obviously update on how it goes.

It's 7:00 am right now and I have second day of filming today. I texted my manager to see how she has been doing since I haven't been updating her on much. I just told her what was going on and asked her how she was doing. I took a shower and got dressed. I put on a black pair of sweats and one of Jack's Champion hoodies he gave me. Of course this dude has a Champion hoodie, I mean if my last name was Champion I would too. I walked out my apartment and got into my uber. I rubbed my eyes since I am super fucking tired. I didn't get too much sleep last night. I think I need to start taking my medication again.

I arrived 30 minutes later and thanked the Uber. I wonder how much I have spent on Ubers this whole week. I think I need to start asking Lily for rides or Jack. I walked in on set and was greeted by Jack. "Hey princess. You look super tired." He said giving me a hug. "I am." I yawned. "Did you not get much sleep?" He asked. "Nope." I sighed. "Do you want coffee?" He asked. "You know coffee doesn't really work for people who have ADHD." I stated. "What? I've been drinking coffee this whole time. My life is a lie." He sighed. "I just need to have adrenaline. Let's run around. Chase me like you're gonna kill me." I said.

He laughed at me but then started chasing me. I screamed and jumped out of my chair running away from him. He was way too fast and caught up to me pretty quick. He grabbed my waist and pulled me into him. "You're dead." He said. I played dead in his arms sticking my tongue out. "Did it work?" He giggled. I got out of his arms and stood up. "Yep." I smiled. "That was fun. Tag you're it." He said taking off. "Hey!" I said running after him.

I got an extra adrenaline kick and started running fast like my life depended on it. I caught up to him and tackled him. We fell to the floor i put my hand on his head so he didn't bump it. "Tag, you're it." I smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Damnit." He said defeated. "What are you guys doing?" Lily said walking in. "Chasing each other." Jack smiled. "Why?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "Because I didn't get much sleep last night and caffeine doesn't help so I told him to chase me around to get adrenaline." I said. "Alright." She giggled setting her things down.

I got up from the ground and skipped to her. "See it works." I grinned. "You're a dork." She snorted. "How rude." I scoffed. "We're really early so we should work on our lines while waiting for the others to get here." Lily said sternly. "Okay." Jack said. We sat down at the table and started going over lines and reading for the others who aren't here. "Is that my hoodie?" Jack whispered to me. "You just noticed?" I laughed. "You guys paying attention?" Lily interrupted. "Yes sorry." I said. Honestly I couldn't stop thinking about what Jack had planned for tonight. There is a lot to do in LA but my favorite thing to do is laser tag and rock climbing. I'm not sure if those are ideal date ideas though. "Y/n?" Lily said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yeah?" I answered. "You need to pay attention." She said sternly. "Right. Sorry." I said.

We finished going over the lines and waited for the rest to get here. "Hey guys." Melissa said walking in. "Hi!" We all greeted. Lucius and Judah walked in shortly after. "Come on." Lily said ushering us to our trailers. "Hi lory." I smiled. "Hey girl! You ready?" She cheered. "Yep." I said. She braided my hair putting the wig on and started on my makeup. We're still filming the parts where we're trapped in the restaurant. After she was done I thanked her and started to put my costume on. "Good luck!" Lory said while I walked out. I gave her a thumbs up and closed the door heading to set. "Hey gorgeous." Jack said kissing my forehead. "Hi." I smiled. We stepped onto set and started filming the scenes. I sneezed mid sentence, tripped over Jacks foot, and forgot a it was my line during filming. It was hectic but we made it through on our second day of filming. I stepped off set and went to my trailer walking with Jack. "Second day. What did you think?" He asked me. "We made it through. That's all I have to say." I giggled. "I'll see you later." I smiled. "See ya'a." He said.
