You were on a boat it was dark out, and your hands were cuffed together, not only that but you were basically black and blue... the guards on the boat had beaten you senseless for whatever reason.
one other thing... you're blind, you were like this your entire life. that's why your here now, a blind person is useless to everyone else.
"Hey, blind!" a male voice called out.
you look in the direction of the voice.
"Listen up, and listen close, we plan to slay the gorgon and you are the distraction... got it? if you don't do it, I'll kill you with my bear hands!" the man said in a threatening tone.
you nodded but was pretty lost in thought, after all this was a gorgon, we are talking about here...
if you were to distract this gorgon you would most definitely be killed by it... if you didn't the people on this boat would kill you... so what was you plan of action to be here...?
you sighed as you thought about of the possibilities...
soon the boat stopped, a man forcefully grabbed your arm and drugged you to the shoreline the other men on the boat followed.
"Now hurry up and find that gorgon!" the man holding you pushed you to the ground.
you got up and hurried off, to be honest you didn't care if you found the gorgon or not...
you ended up tripping multiple times, suddenly you ran into something rock hard and your nose started bleeding.
"fuck..." you cursed.
you felt the thing standing in front of you which seemed to be a statue. wait... you quickly stepped away from the statue and cringed slightly.
you kept roaming around slowly but surely. then you stepped on a marble floor and stopped for a second, you took a deep breath in and roamed inside whatever the place was...
{Medusa's POV}
People have arrived on the island, Medusa could tell... another man trying to slay the monster...
Medusa sighed and sat down, in her so-called throne room, at least that's what the story calls it.
suddenly Medusa heard someone enter the temple... but these footsteps sounded out of place and slow... strange.
soon a shadow was seen behind the doorway, though it was one of someone small and Medusa heard no armor, how odd... were the 'heroes' getting dumber?
{Your POV}
you walked into a room and felt as if someone else was in the room, then a deep female voice hissed-
"Who dares enter the temple of Sarpedon!?" the woman hissed.
you tensed up knowing that this was where you would end, you did not step out of the shadows and instead hid in a corner of the room.
{Medusa's POV}
'Now out of all the so-called 'heroes' this must be the most pathetic one.' Medusa thought to herself.
"Hiding yourself will do you no good! I demand you show your face!" Medusa said slightly annoyed.
the small human slowly came out of the shadows, medusa was shocked.
'A female!? they sent a female after my head!? this must be some sort of joke!' Medusa let out a hiss as she thought.
After thinking about it for some time Medusa thought this must be some sort of trap to make her lower her guard. Medusa eyed the small woman; she was dressed down and her nose seemed to be bleeding.
"Look into my eyes" the serpent hissed.
{Your POV}
she was trying to turn you into stone, it was a better way out you suppose... you look up in the direction of her voice, seconds pass and you're not stone... was it because you were blind!?
You heard someone stand up, to which you assumed was the gorgon.. you could tell she was getting closer, as the sound of hissing became louder.
"What is this...?" the serpent said mostly to herself.
"i-i'm blind" you stated.
"Blind!? they sent a blind person after me, how ridiculous!" the serpent hissed.
"Well... actually I'm supposed to be the bait..." you said.
the gorgon looked at you up and down noticing the bruises on you.
"Tell me mortal, what is your name?" the gorgon asked you
"My name is Y/n, who are you?" you pondered.
"Oh...? I thought you would've known my name; you were sent to be bait" she hissed.
"Yeah, bait that was supposed to die." you said.
"Hmm, my name is Medusa." the gorgon said.
