Alex Carabello is fresh out of high school. The high school he went to was in the East Blue, Syrup Village High School to be exact. At school he didn't Have many friends because he mainly kept to himself, he did have one friends, her name is Usopp...
We open to see a man with black hair and light blue eyes walking through an airport with his air pods in his ears. Before he walks to the receptionist he looks back out to his home village.
???: Had a lot of good memories here... but, everyone has to move on at some point. It's my time now.
The man says as he continues walking to the receptionist. He tells her what flight he's on and she tells him where to wait. The male thanks her and picks up his luggage, and goes to the room.
???: Hey, it's me the main character of this book, I'm gonna introduce myself because the author is to lazy too. I'm Alex Carabello, I'm 18 and fresh out of high school. I'm at the airport because well I need a job, and my friend offered me to be their personal assistant. Now I don't know what they do, I don't even really know their gender. Never asked, so I'll be pleasantly surprised when I meet them in person.
Alex told the readers through his thoughts. As he goes to sit down, 3 little kids run up to him and grabbed his arm.

Kid 1: No! Please don't leave big bro! We already lost Usopp we can't lose you too!
One said. [the one in the middle]
Kid 2: Yeah! We'll be all alone if we don't have you!
The second one pleads. [The one on the right]
Kid 3: Even if you are depressing most of the time, you're all we have! Without you we're nothing!
The final one pleaded.
Alex: Wow, really feeling the love from you Huh?
The male said sarcastically before sitting down.
Alex: Listen, you guys won't be alone.
The three kids look at each other confused then look back at Alex.
Alex: You have each other, and Kaya.
He says as he leans back.
Alex: Even without me here, you guys will still be fine. I've been holding you guys back ever since Usopp left.
The three kids looked at each other before shrugging.
Kid 3: We didn't care!
Kid 1: Yeah! You are like our big brother!
Kid 2: We're supposed to help you through, your depression or whatever your going through!
The three exclaim.
Alex: Yeah, that may be true. But, didn't you guys fail the year before I decided to pull myself together?
The three kids stayed quiet.
Alex: Exactly, besides, it's to late, I already paid for the plane ticket, and I need the job.
The three kids looked down depressingly.
Alex: I'll tell you what.
Alex begins and the kids perk up as they look at the male with hope in their eyes.
Alex: Whenever I get free time to myself I'll call you guys. Not only that but whenever I get a vacation week or something, I'll come back to visit.
He says.
Kid 2: You promise?
The one on the right asked.
Alex: I promise. Now, get out of here. Kaya's probably looking for you.
The male said as people began to board the flight. He waved goodbye to the three kids and went to his seat on the plane.
A/N: Ok so this chapter is short because I recently read a book by BaguetteManOfficial called Life In Smallville, and I want to write a story similar to it.
