Chapter 1/Assist

"I'm home!" Akihiko announced as he closed the door and took his shoes off. He wasn't surprised when his twin brother didn't reply. Lately Akihiro seemed to be obsessed with making his own Otome game lately, he didn't get it, but as long as Akihiro was happy and not committing felonies he was fine with it.

Stepping into their shared room, Akihiko glanced at his twin.

"You're really determined to finish that." He huffed as he walked over to where Akihiro was typing.

"Yeah and it's almost done!" Akihiro grinned as he spun around in his chair to face his twin. The same twin who frankly, tried his best to seem interested.

"Take a look! Nearly everything is complete!" He gestured for Akihiko join him, letting him sit on the arm of his chair as Akihiko checked out what new updates he had made to his passion project.

"It came out way better than I thought. Impressive." Akihiko smiled as he patted the happily grinning male on the head. He quickly began opening his game files, eager to show his twin his progress.

"I even made a character you might actually be interested in!" Akihiko raised an eyebrow, looking at his twin with suspicion in his gray eyes.

"Really? That's a hard thing to accomplish."

"I know! But I'm sure you'll like him!" He typed in a few keys into a search bar before clicking on a file. A file which showed pictures of a handsome man with blueish gray hair and faint blue eyes.

Akihiko blinked in surprise at the male's appearance.

"He's handsome, I'll give you that, but not really my cup of tea." His reply made Akihiro groaned, banging his head on his desk. His action made Akihiko flinch, looking at his twin with concern.

"Hey are you ok-?"

"Uggghhh, c'mon, I thought I had you there." He sighed in frustration. The sign that his twin was his usual self made Akihiko chuckle at his response.

"Well, what's he like?"

"He's supposed to be the MC's rival or something like that." He shrugged while grinning. "The classic rivals to lovers if you get what I'm saying." Akihiro winked. Letting the silence engulf the room before laughing.

His laughter didn't last long, turning into a sigh as he went back to being mopey.

"But as always-"

"You gave him a too much trauma for his own good, didn't you."

"Hey it wasn't that bad. Besides, giving a lot of trauma to a character shows how you favor them!" Akihiko's faced morphed into confusion.

"I really don't understand you..." He sighed as he shook his head.

"I don't understand you! I've shown you so many characters yet you don't find any of them to be your type! Like how could you say that Silva isn't your type!"

"You seem to be very down bad for a man who is way older than you."

"He's hot, need I say more?" Akihiko sighed once again, feeling even more disappointed then he was before.

"But the red flags..."

"I can fix him." He said in serious tone of voice and he had to hold back at the way Akihiko looked at him.

"Actually I can't, but you probably could."

"The fuck's is that supposed to mean." Akihiko narrowed his eyes as he got off the chair arm, letting Akihiro spin in it freely.

"Hiko, you literally fixed the school delinquent by complete accident and now he wants to marry you." Akihiko blinked at the memory.

"I guess...but these characters you made just have a shit ton of trauma."
