Boruto: A Naruto Fanfic

Part One: Fever becomes Illness

Boruto was in class at the academy, he felt terrible but had come to the day's lessons anyways.

Sarada had noticed Boruto wasn't pulling pranks or anything today. He seemed pale and totally out of it, she noted.

Inojin came into the classroom with Chocho & sat down next to Shikadia. Shino-sensei walked in after a few more moments. All the children in the class were accoubted for today, Shino-sensei looked up to see if Boruto was really there and noticed he was silent and frowning instead of happy and mischievous like usual. He simply shrugged and began class, and was oddly never once interrupted by Boruto.

Shino-sensei allowed the students their lunch break, Boruto simply walked out of the classroom sluggishly along with everyone running and laughing with eachother ahead of him. Boruto sighed and slid down a tree trunk, closing his eyes. He felt horrible, not even looking at his lunch box his Mom had packed for him today. A shadow loomed over the blonde and he had to look up, squinting he noticed a worried looking Sarada.

"Bolt, are you alright? You seem quiet today?" Sarada asked.

Boruto nodded his head slowly but didn't truly answer, he held out his lunch box to her and she noticed his hand was shaking.

"Bolt...maybe you should let my Mom examine you?" Sarada said, gently taking the lunch box. Boruto simply nodded no and reclosed his eyes. Sarada sat down next to the blonde boy and watched him fall back to sleep. He seemed unpeaceful and restless, and when Shino-sensei called for everyone to come over to sparring lessons Sarada had shook Boruto's shoulders and told him it was time to wake up.

Boruto sighed and stood up, a few spars in and Boruto heard his name get called. "Boruto Uzumaki...vs. Inojin Yamanaka." Shino-sensei said.

Boruto walked into the sparring circle, half the girls were cheering for Boruto while the other half was cheering for Inojin. Boruto looked up at Inojin and had to do a retake. There was a second Inojin in his line of vision, which he felt couldn't be good. Was it a clone? Or was he having double vision? Before Boruto could end his thoughts, Inojin had punched him in the facw and knocked him backwards. Boruto held his nose and cried out loudly.

"My nose!" He said, blood spurting out of it. His eyes were watering and he looked angry now. He punched awkwardly at Inojin who blocked the attacks and kicked him in the back hard. Boruto fell forward then slowly stood up again. He gritted his teeth and got away from Inojin's next punch and landed a few on the Yamanaka who then kneeled and shouted words that seened slurred in Boruto's ears.

"Mind....Trans- Juts-!" Was all Boruto heard before his mind went blank and Inojin's body hit the ground.

"I submit...Shino-sensei." Boruto was forced to say by Inojin. As soon as Inojin got back in his own body, Shino-sensei had already declared Inojin the winner of the match. Boruto sighed in defeat but realized it was too late to change the match.

Boruto felt like his body was drained all of a sudden, Shino-sensei noticed this and flashed to Boruto in an instant. He caught the blonde before he passed out. Boruto's eyes had rolled back in his head and it sounded like his lungs were restricted. He told the class to go into the classroom and wait for him to come back, everyone did as told while Shino-sensei took Boruto to the Hidden Leaf Medical Center.

Sakura was just finishing up on a medical case and was walking into the lobby when she saw Shino and a group of nurses that were surrounding him. She looked at the entrance to see Sasuke was coming in for his usual visit to her. She smiled but then turned her head back to the commotion that was taking place in front of her. She finally got up enough nerve to go see what was getting everyone so riled up when she noticed a small form and blonde hair. The blonde was a young boy she knew well, she ran now, over as fast as possible to see a convulsing Boruto that Shino was holding while one nurse checked the boys vitals and another held the boys tongue down with a tongue holder. Sakura gasped and told them to bring the boy to treatment room A-6.

Sasuke looked at Sakura oddly, wondering what she was so immediately tranfixed on. He the noticed Naruto and Hinata's son being lifted onto a stretcher like bed and being hauled into a hospital room. A few moments passed and the red light above the door began to flash and one of the receptionist's called over the scanner in a frantic voice.

"Paging Lady Tsundae! Room A-6! Your attention is needed immediately, we have a code blue!" The receptionist announced and into Sasuke's vision came a blonde female Hokage. She didn't bother talking, she just ran passed with a serious expression and charged into room A-6 like she owned it.

Sasuke began to tense up, 'If Sakura couldn't handle this...and she needed Tsundae's help immediately... did that mean Boruto's condition was worse then he thought?' He thought to himself and had to sit diwn before he fell down.

He had just got back from a month long trip, and this is the first thing he sees?

Naruto was busy with his shadow clones helping him finish their paper work. He was about finished with the last report when Hinata knocked then strolled in with a smile on. She put down a basket on the large desk, "Hey babe." Naruto said and stood up. Walking around the desk he put his arms around her and she gasped and laughed when he dipped her downward and kissed her lovingly.

"All done, boss!" The clones stated and Naruto thanked them before he let them all disperse. He flinched and put a hand to his forehead.

"Naruto...I told you last time. One at a time or you'll get a head rush." Kakashi stated, he had climbed the tower and was sitting n the large picture window.

"Kakashi-sensei...you could use the door you know." Naruto states, Kakashi eye smiles at the blonde.

"What's the fun in using the door when you can scale the wall and use a window?" Kakashi asks but then gets serious. "I was summoned here by Lady Tsundae. She requests I bring you and Hinata to the hospital at once..."

"...but what for sensei?" Naruto asks nervously.

"Did something happen?" Hinata asks.

Kakashi looks down, "...it's Bolt..." he says simply.

"Did he pull pranks on the medical staff again?" Naruto asks, a bit harshly.

"Not this time...it seems they had sparing lessons today at the academy and Bolt passed out...it seems more serious then a minor pass out though, Lady Tsundae requested his parents come to the hospital immediately m, that's why I was summoned here." Kakashi says.

Naruto was already putting on his Hokage cloak and picking Hinata up. "Let's go, what are you waiting for Kakashi Sensei?!" He barked outwardly and they jumped out the window, Naruto and Kakashi ran down the Tower and landed on the ground softly without a sound and headed to what had to be Boruto's parents worse nightmare (seeing their child in the hospital...) 'Hopefully their daughter was doing alright.' Both Hinata and Naruto thought, she was being watched by a few ANBU till Naruto and Hinata got back from their heavy work loads as Ninja and Hokage.
