River waves to Allison as he takes a seat in the lacrosse stands with his Dad and Mellisa. "Why did I have to come to this again?" The boy grumbles opening up his book.

"Because we are being supportive of your brother." Noah says plucking the book from Rivers hands who looks at him with betrayal.

"We're being supportive of his ability to sit on a bench for an hour? I could do that!" River exclaims huffing out a puff of air. Noah chuckled shaking his head and ruffles Rivers beanie- who in return scowls and fixes it. Mellisa nudges River with her elbow and he turns to her.

"Hey Riv, that guys pretty cute don't you think?" She asks with a wink pointing in Danny's direction. River turns bright red hiding his face in his hands.

"Mellisa!" She laughs wrapping her arm around his back and pulling him in for a side hug.

The game begins as the two starting players fight for the ball. River looks around slightly nervous for Scott and sees his idiotic brother chewing on his gloves. The teen started to notice as the game went on that no one was passing to Scott.

'That's probably a good thing'

Scott try's to make a run for the ball, only to be knocked over by Jackson who takes it instead. "I don't know much about Lacrosse, but I'm pretty certain your not supposed to knock over your own teammates." River acknowledges as Mellisa cover her mouth with her hands, having just watched her son fall to the ground. Pretty dramatically, River might add. River looks over to the other set of bleachers to see Lydia and Allison holding up a sign that says 'We luv u Jackson'. "Well, shit." River mumbles as he sees Scott looking towards the girls. River fiddles with his necklace as Scott huffs our air on the field looking far from his usually happy puppy state. Scott magically gets the ball and starts sprinting down the middle of the field passing by all of the opposing teams players. Everyone cheers when the ball goes straight past the goalie and into the net, especially Mellisa.

River tilts his head in confusion when a player on the other team passes Scott the ball. "Everything I thought I new about this game is officially not true." River grumbles wishing he could be reading right now. River covers his mouth in anticipation as Scott gets cornered looking very much, not like Scott. Scott scores the last shot milliseconds before the timer goes of and the crowd goes wild. People crowd the field congratulating the team, but River watches as Scott runs from the field dropping his gloves.

River walks into his bedroom petting Cheeto lovingly before shrugging off his jacket and stripping from the rest of his clothes. He slips on pajama pants leaving him shirtless. River climbs into bed and reaches over to turn off his bedside lamp, only to knock over a glass of water that had been sitting there. He gasped but before the cup could hit the ground it froze, water and all. River sat up quickly and slowly reached out to touch the floating water but before he could the cup and water clattered to the ground. "The fuck?" He mutters.

'What the hell is happening to me?'

River pulls off his bike helmet running his fingers through his hair in an attempt to tame it. He waves over to a group of girls that were staring at him, and they all burst into giggles turning away. He smiles slightly, taking the keys from his bike and heading into the school.

"How are you, Riv?" Celeste asks walking up to the boy and looping her arm around his. River looks up from his book to smile warmly at his bestfreind.
