(Dipper pov)

I pull on my jacket and bag, rushing out of my room. Looking down at the first floor I see everyone else heading to the dining room for breakfast. I need to talk to Dolores.

I race down the stairs, coming into the dining room as everyone else was putting food on their plates. I weave through them over to Dolores.

"Dolores, I really need to talk to you."

"Is it about what you and Casita were talking about last night after Antonio's ceremony?"

"You heard that? Nevermind, that is a stupid question. Of course you heard. Look, have you heard anything about cracks? Or about the magic failing or anything remotely more worrying than the usual stuff?"

"No, nothing aside from hearing the usual rats in the walls."

"Is that really all?"

"Oh, actually there is one thing. Louise's eye was twitching. All night."

"Her eye was twitching? But her eye never twitches unless she is extremely stressed out."

"All I know is that it was twitching. You'll need to talk to her if you want to know anything specific."

As everyone takes a seat around the table, I quickly take the spot next to Loise. Stan goes to sit at the head of the table but stops seeing a bunch of critters in his seat. He sighs slightly before looking at Antonio. "Antonio, please explain this."

"They just wanted to keep your seat warm."

"Well, that is very generous." He gently shoos the critters away as he takes his seat. "Now, in the meantime we will find a way for you to use your gift to help the town. I would like you to stay by my side until then, Antonio, got it?"

I glance over at Louise, whispering to her so that Stan won't hear. He really doesn't like us talking when he is in the middle of talking.

"Louise, Dolores says last night that you were totally freaking out. She said your eye was twitching and it only does then when you care super stressed. If you know something about the miracle failing, then you really need to tell me." She tries not to look at me but I see that her right eye is twitching just like Dolores said it was. I hit my hand on the table, a bit too excited that someone else actually knew something was wrong besides just me. "You do know something!"

Stan clears his throat drawing our attention. "Are you two done over there?"

"Y-Yes sir...." I mutter looking down at my hands in my lap.

"That's what I thought. Dolores, what is the update about Mermando's proposal to Mabel?"

Dolores tilts her head slightly, probably listening to Mermando in his home. "He's coming to dinner tonight to do it. He wants five babies."

Roses and a single daisy sprout in Mabel's hair. Stan walks over to her, plucking out the daisy and brushing some of her hair behind her ear. "And he is lucky to have someone as wonderful as our Mabel. Everyone, go out and help any way you can in the village. Just like always."

Everyone leaves, Louise being one of the first people out. I get out of my seat, running after her. "Louise, wait!"

I go into town running after her. She kicks a crooked church, making it straight again.

"Louise, the donkey's got out again." One of the villagers said.

"On it." She replies. I follow her a bit out of the village, her grabbing donkeys and carrying them all on her back.

"Louise, you can't keep avoiding me."

"I'm not avoiding, I am just busy right now."

"Look, I get if you're scared, but if something is wrong with the miracle then-"
