~AUTHOR'S NOTE~ Okay guys. So this next poem is going to be a pretty dark and depressing poem. (More dark than some of my other ones.) Also, it will be much longer than all of the others.
P.S. I am not a depressed person. I wrote this a long time ago and I'm just now posting it.

Hope you enjoy!

I gave you my heart,
It was yours to keep,
But you beat me down,
And your love was cheap.
Now I sit by myself,
All alone in the dark,
Endlessly crying,
I make a mark.
My heart is withering away,
But you don't care,
I cut so deep,
Do I dare?
Yes,
Yes I dare,
Because you're with her,
And I still care.
One final stroke and I'm on my knees,
You walk in,
But I don't hear your plees.
You hold me in your arms,
Pushing hair back from my face,
I see your tears fall,
You say I belong in no other place.
My eyes begin to drift shut,
You tell me to hold on,
But I can't,
I'm just not that strong.
Just before my eyelids close,
I see you take the knife,
You say the 3 words I needed to hear,
And you take your life.
They find us in cold pools of blood,
Together at last,
On the other side,
We look at our past.
We watch as they bury us,
We watch as she weeps,
We see her wearing black,
But now you're mine to keep.
