"Stupefy!" Sebastian shouts as he and another student are dueling while Alexis and other kids watch.
"I can't believe they're at this again. Professor Hecat isn't gonna be thrilled." Natsai says as she is standing with Alexis.
"Yeah I know. Guys come on. If you're gonna do this at least do it in Cross Wands." Alexis says annoyedly.
"You know you enjoy watching me Alexis. You can't say you're not impressed by my skills. Is that all you've got?" Sebastian asks as he looks at his opponent.
"Skills maybe but your common sense at times not so much." Alexis says as she playfully rolls her eyes.
"Bombarda!" Sebastian shouts before the blast hits a huge skull above him causing it to fall toward him.
"Sebastian look out!" Alexis shouts in alarm.
"Leviosa!" A voice shouts as the spell stops the skull from falling before the group sees it was Professor Hecat.
"Professor Hecat!" The students shout.
"Perhaps you'd be good enough to blast each other to bits on your own time. I get new students every year but I only have one Hebridean Black skull. It was taken from the Great Poacher Raid of 1878. No doubt you've heard of it. Now you may be asking yourself how an old woman like me single-handedly took out the largest poacher ring in Eastern Wales and lived to boast about it. Knowledge. To the wise your age matters very little. Today we will review a spell that has saved my life from the hands of dark wizards more times than I care to remember. Leviosa." Professor Hecat says as she puts the skull back where it belongs.
"Leviosa? A levitation charm?" Leander asks.
"Leviosa! A surprised opponent is a weak opponent. Care to defend yourself master Prewett? No?" Professor Hecat says as she levitates Leander before putting him down.
"And that is why she is my favorite teacher." Alexis says as she and Natsai chuckle.
"One thing I've learned as an Unspeakable is the value of simplicity. Especially in the heat of battle. Now let's practice what we've just learned. Starting with something small." Professor Hecat says.
*Timeskip*
"Good. Well done everyone. But the best way to practice is by dueling." Professor Hecat says as she is walking around the room seeing everyone practicing the charm.
"She's pretty good. She's the new student you mentioned earlier right?" Alexis says as she looks over at the dark haired new girl.
"Yes. That is Sarah Croft." Natsai says.
"We'll start with you two. Duellists take your marks!" Professor Hecat says as she looks at Sebastian and Sarah.
"Uh-oh. She's up against Sebastian. This ought to be interesting." Alexis says concernedly.
"I would not underestimate Sarah. She has a lot of talent and catches on very quickly." Natsai says.
"Maybe but Sebastian has experience in dueling and he's one of the best in the class for a reason. Guess we'll see though." Alexis says.
"We shall." Natsai says as she smiles.
"Time for a proper Hogwarts Welcome." Sebastian says as he and Sarah take their places.
"Now I want a fair duel. Using only Leviosa, Basic Cast and Protego. You may begin." Professor Hecat says as Sebastian and Sarah begin dueling with each other before Sarah manages to beat Sebastian in the duel.
"Well done Sarah." Natsai says as she and Alexis go over to Sarah and Sebastian.
"Yes. Well done. Not bad for a beginner. You give what you get I suppose. But just so you know I was holding back. Though when we're not in class you owe me a proper duel." Sebastian says.
"You and your duels. Is that all you ever think about?" Natsai asks.
"No. For your information Natty I do happen to think about other things." Sebastian says as he smiles at Alexis causing her to smile and blush.
"Oh brother. Well you just remember to respect my sister. I'm not above throwing some unpleasant charms and spells at you if you don't." Natsai says as she looks at Sebastian.
"We're just friends Natsai. Don't worry. Besides your sister is one of my best friends. I'd never harm her. Plus she does good on her own with keeping me in check whether I want her to or not." Sebastian says before Natsai walks off.
"Well anyway I look forward to the next duel with you. But may I ask you both something?" Sarah asks as Alexis and Sebastian look at her.
"Of course." Alexis says.
"I am supposed to go to Hogsmeade later to finish receiving my supplies. I'm not familiar with the area so can you accompany me?" Sarah asks.
"Sure. How can I refuse a duelist who is able to hold their own with me in a duel?" Sebastian asks.
"We'd love to accompany you Sarah. Meet us outside by the fountain later. We can take my Mystery my Thestral." Alexis says.
"Oh lovely. The death beast that doesn't like me." Sebastian says as Alexis looks at him.
"Again she was only after your apple. And in her defense you were levitating it with Leviosa around her. So yeah she is gonna go after the apple you had." Alexis says.
"Yeah and chased me to get it. Not funny you two." Sebastian says as he gives an unamused look as Alexis and Sarah laugh slightly.
"Sorry." Alexis and Sarah say as they chuckle.
