The silence of the crowd pt.2

I had just woken up out of my sleep, god I was exhausted. I was extremely tired from the concert that me and the band had to do.

I slip my eye in and go to brush my teeth in the bathroom before putting my mask on.

Yawning under my mask I decide why not go get coffee right?

What's the worse that could happen?

Before I leave I brush out my hair a bit, I put it in a loose pony tail and put on a black hoodie. I put a black hat on and then put the hood over my head and leave.

I walked into the store and got in line behind a Karen who was complaining about how her coffee wasn't hot enough, she ordered a ice coffee.

Finally she finished arguing and I was next in line so I stepped in front of her and watched her leave until I heard the door close.

Finally I look up and see the cute boy from the mall, he looked stressed and on the verge of tears.
"Are you alright..." I looked at his name tag, "..Travis?".

"Yeah sorry, what would you like to order" he sniffed a bit before asking, maybe he didn't like yelling? It made me curios why.

Daddy issues?

"Hm..a ice coffee at 75 degrees?" He smiles and giggles a bit, "now actually what's your order" he smirks at me which makes me a bit flustered.

He can't see it though, you can only ever tell by my ears and body.

"I'll take..a mocha...and maybe add a donut.", "okay coming right up...?"he looks at me curious, I knew he was waiting for my name.

"Sally, friends call me sally face." I smile under my mask, also still flustered since he was even hotter up close.

"Okay sally face." He smiled brighter, like super genuine and in that moment I saw butterflies.

He handed me my coffee a few moments later, and then my donut. While paying I looked down at the cup, he drew stars and hearts around my name.

And a small smiley face, at that moment I got red, Like super red to the point you can already see through my mask.

"T-thanks." I take my cup and donut, while walking out I find a bench near by and eat there.
I finally finished eating before getting a text from Larry.

'Hey dude redy 4 the concrt?'

I reply, 'what..?'

'Don't tel me u 4got'

Shit.

I quickly put my phone in my pocket, throw away the stuff and start running as fast as I can. When I finally got there I was so out of breath.

"I- fuck.. so wh-" catching my breath in between sentences wasn't the best. "When, did someone decide to tell me..this?"

"Sorry I forgot." Todd of all people said, shrugging. "Fuck" I quickly take off my hat and hoodie and start tying my hair into pigtails.

Quickly, we got on stage as the crowd got louder. I said hello into the microphone and greeted the crowd before singing.
