WARNING TEARS OF THE KINGDOM SPOILERS DONT SCROLL DOWN IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS.
Link and Zelda were sitting under a tree in Hyrule Field. Zelda was reading a book, while Link was playing with some flowers, trying to keep himself from boredom. Link looked up at the sky.
"Hey Zelda?" Link asked.
"Yes, Link?" Zelda sat the book down on the grass.
"How did it feel like...you know...being a dragon?"
"Oh, well...hm...to be honest, I can't really remember anything. After all, I technically was up in the sky for hundreds of years. And Mineru said I would forget who I was, so yeah. I can only remember things like, when you pulled the Master Sword and when we defeated the Demon King. It was almost like I was in a very long slumber." Zelda replied.
"So you weren't bored?" Link asked.
"No, like I said, I can't really remember anything besides important stuff. So it just kinda felt like I fell asleep and a few minutes later someone was pulling a sword from my head, which didn't actually hurt by the way, it felt like a splinter. Then I'd fall back asleep and wake up to Ganondorf turning into a dragon."
"Oh, ok. Heh, you know what's funny Zel?"
"What?"
"When I woke up on the sky island, I thought I saw a long rat, or mole in the sky. But when I got a closer look I realized it wasn't a rodent. It was a dragon. Then when I got all the dragon tears, I found out it was you! You were the rodent dragon!" Link chuckled.
".........alright, let's head back." Zelda said.
