I let out a small sigh while glancing out my window. I was leaving my home town behind and starting new. My parents only wanted to move because my dad got a new job opportunity. People would do anything for money.

It felt bittersweet, almost. I didn't get along with anybody there. No one ever understood me and made fun of me for being different. I guess that's what happens when you dress alternative and live in Texas. It didn't help that I was in a small town either.

I felt a pit in my stomach. I felt excited but nervous at the same time. What if they're the same here, too? I didn't know what to expect. Change was certainly scary. But sometimes it was for the better.

I leaned my head against the window and slowly closed my eyes. It would be hours before we're in Flordia.
