Yashaswi's pov•
Going back to my room I laid on my bed thinking about what he did outside. Just thinking about that makes me blush. I can assume how I must've been blushing at that time
•FLASHBACK•
"Thanks for saying yes" he said.
"I would say the same" I replied, meaning it. "I'll be very lucky to have a husband like you. Nowadays it's very hard to find a good guy"
"How are you so sure that I'm a good guy. I mean we just met yesterday. What if I'm just pretending to be good" he smirked
"One thing I wanna make it clear is, that I'm very good at reading faces. You can't fool me" I showed my fake arrogance.
He just smiled at my words and suddenly cupped my cheeks very gently and kissed my forehead with his soft lips. I'm damn sure I'm a blushing mess right now. Without thinking twice I wrapped my arms around his torso. And he too wrapped his one arm at my waist and second at the back of my head, caressing my hair lovingly.
"My parents will call your parents for fixing the engagement date" he said and I smiled against his chest "I'll miss you" he added
"Me too" i replied breaking the hug.
"Now go inside"
"Bye" saying, I started heading inside.
"Bye" I heard him say. With that I went in.
•FLASHBACK ENDS•
I don't know what's happening to me. This is the first time I'm believing someone this easily. But I can't help. Either it's my heart or mind both are telling me to believe that guy. He seems so genuine. Genuine like no one have ever been to me.
Shrugging my thoughts away I went to change in my comfort clothes and after that went to momma.
"Hey mama!!!"
"Yashi!!! How was your meeting. You liked him. You said yes, na. Will you speak now???" Dude she's excited more than me.
"Shanti Mata shree shanti" I tried to calm her down "I said yes. I liked the guy, he seemed genuine" i said
"I knew it. Meine kaha tha na wo bohot acha ladka h, tujhe zaroor pasand aayega" she said and I nodded.
"He said that his parents will call you to fix the engagement" I informed her
"I'm going to get sweets" she directly ran towards kitchen without listening anything else. I smiled at her childish behaviour. I mean she's the only one who scold me for running.
Coming to my room, realisation hit me "Shit!!!! I didn't ask for his number" I exclaimed
KIAN'S POV•
"Mom, it's a yes from her side and mine too" I said and her eye lightened
"Really!!! I already knew, no one can reject my son. You're a gem."
"Stop flexing mom" I said smiling.
"Why shouldn't I???? I did such a great in raising my son"
"You have a point" I finelly agreed to her.
"I should go and talk to Kamini ji for the engagement date" She ran away in excitement.
Going back to my room and went to freshen up and coming out, I realised, I didn't ask for her phone number. "Aaagghhhhhhhh" I growled in announce.
Leave it there's nothing I can do. I'll ask for it on our engagement.
Just the thought of OUR ENGAGEMENT made me contented. I hope they don't delay marriage.Shooking up the thought, I slept because I have an important meeting tomorrow.
Yashaswi's pov•
I woke up in the morning, and saw the time. It was 6:30. I don't know how I woke up this early without any scoldings.
Maybe his thoughts isn't letting you sleep. Mocked my subconscious
I'm telling you my mind is very cringe. I mean what type of thoughts are this. IdiotShrugging up all the thoughts, I went to the washroom to do my morning business. "Stop fighting you both. Yashi chal." Three of us moved out and I got to the driving seat, mom on passanger seat and my brother at the back. Though he didn't wanted to.
