A peaceful heart along with positivity is necessary to adopt newness, to adopt any kind of new environment. If someone doesn't have a heart like that then that person can just push himself or herself to do adjust, and there's a huge difference in between adoption and adjustment. Subhadra was standing in between the gap of adoption and adjustment.
Trishika had filled Subhadra's mind and heart with doubt. Subhadra was disturbed, and no positivity can grow amidst of disturbance.
Even though everyone of her family loved her heartily she couldn't even flash a happy smile at them. None of them considered her behaviour seriously. They thought she must be missing Mayapuri, but they didn't have any idea that reality was different than their thoughts.
None of them even asked about her bothering not to make her feel uncomfortable which was misunderstood by her. She thought they were too engrossed in their own happiness to ensure her comfort.
There was a bunch of reason to cheer her among all the chaos. The reason was her nephews, sons of dau and Kanha. Pradyumn, Shambh, Bhanu, Nishant and Ulmukh were succeed in establishing a good bond with Subhadra which no one of family could have done.
One morning Subhadra was playing with her nephews.
"Gudiya, we have something to share with you," Dau and Kanha entered into the scenario smiling joyfully.
"But I am full. I can't have anything for now," Subhadra stood up with a reply.
"You don't have to digest this news," Kanha's mysterious smile started its job of attracting Subhadra's attention.
"News! Which news?" She asked.
"Soon a grand feast is going to be arranged to celebrate your return to family. Our close allies and some of our dear ones will be invited for this function," Dau was expecting excitement in Subhadra's eyes, but there was something else in her eyes which he couldn't figure out.
"Dear ones! Like," changed gesture was evident in her eyes, but wasn't comprehensible for any one except Kanha.
"I meant about our paternal aunt, her sons and daughters in law," Dau explained his indication about dear ones.
"Devika, Valandhara, Karenumati and Vijaya. Am I right about the names of our aunt's daughters in law?" Her stern tone made dau flinch in doubt about her happiness regarding upcoming.
"Absolutely right, Gudiya. They will be good friends to you," Kanha added with a suppressed teasing smile.
"They are sisters in law to me in relation. This bonding will be enough for me to fulfill," she discarded Kanha's attempt of gaining more attention of hers.
"Gudiya, guests will be arriving before evening as day after tomorrow is the function," Dau caressed Subhadra's hairs to soothe the air filled with unpleasant banter.
"I will be alert," Her statement confused dau while Kanha was smiling at the duo secretly.
Dau was feeling something suspicious with Kanha's smile more than the last statement of Subhadra.
Dau's intuition came true when Subhadra was nowhere to be found in afternoon who was supposed to have rest in her chamber.
