Ch. 23

Kiara's POV

We just landed in Auckland and it is pretty amazing here! We went to our hotel and I organized a little since we only took one carry on since the rest of our suitcases were back in our Airbnb in Sydney. We didn't have much to do in Auckland except for touring around the city. It was already night time when we arrived so we basically just went out to eat at a restaurant.

"So baby, r u excited to see ur mom in a few days?!" I asked JJ happily as smiles grew in both of our faces. "Yes I am! I wanna know how she looks and how she thinks of 'em and can't wait to tell her that ur my wife!!" JJ said smiling at me. "Awwwwww that's sooooo sweet!! She'll love u JJ and she will be very happy for u as well!" I said smiling back at him. "And she'll definitely love u too!" JJ said smiling at me.

We enjoyed our dinner and went back to the hotel and got ready for our next two days of touring around Auckland. We went to The Sky Tower and went all the way to the top and got a view of mostly all of Auckland.  That was the first day and then the second day we visited the volcanoes and did a beach day/boat day which I enjoyed the most because it reminds me of OBX. Then later on we had a fancy dinner that viewed all of Auckland which JJ surprised me and I absolutely loved it!

"Babe, I love this sm...thank you!!" I said as I leaned in to kiss his lips and he kissed back. "Anything for my wife and plus this is ur dream restaurant to go to!" JJ said. "Well it's actually not but being with u makes it the best restaurant every!!" I said smiling. "Well those restaurants that have this hot girl names Kiara Maybank in it are my favs!" JJ said smiling. "Dude shut up!" I said as we both started to laugh. "But I live my last name sm!!" I said smiling. "Well I love it too!" JJ said smiling back at me.

JJ's POV

I'm soooo glad that Kie is my wife because she's perfect in every way and she's the most kindest a boy could ever ask for in a girl.

"I love when it's just the two of us!" Kie said as she smiles and her hands held mine and we held hands. "Same! But what if we can make us a family!" I said. "Maybe soon!" Kie said smiling at me.

I can't wait to make a family with the love of my life. I can't wait to see her as a mom, I can't wait to see her care for our kids as much as she does with me. I can't wait to raise our kids together. I can't wait to have the rest of my life with her, which I do but still.

We finished our dinner and headed back to our hotel to sleep since we had a morning flight back to Sydney.

The next day we already unpacked from our trip from Auckland and we were going to see my mom today. Sarah gave us her address so we took a taxi to where her house is and it was the humongous mansion.

"Wow Jayge, this house is literally insane!" Kie said as both of us were standing there in shock. "Well then let's go in!" I said. We thanked our taxi driver and paid him. Kie and I went to her door and saw that their was a sign.

"What's this?" I asked Kie. "Idk let's read it." Kie said as I grabbed the note and read it out loud.

Dear whoever is reading this,

This is my house and I am sadly not feeling well/currently in the hospital. I want one of u guys to get a hold of my son, JJ Maybank, so that he can come and visit me at the hospital which is down the street. If u get a hold of him please tell him to come asap because I have something to tell him.

"Sh.." I said in panic. "Babe don't panic please...everything will be alright...let's just go to the hospital and see what is up with ur mom, ok baby?" She said with puppy eyes. "Ok." I said as I held her hand and led her to the hospital that my mom was currently at.

We went into her room and her face brightened up when she saw me. "Oh son it's soooo good to see u..." She said as she was smiling and I ran up to hug her. "Mom...I'm happy to see u too! R u ok?" I asked her in worry. "Well honey...the thing is that u came at the perfect time because I only have a few hours left. I had some illnesses and it damaged my body badly and I'm in the worse shape ever...whose this girl?" She's said to me as she pointed to Kie. "Hey I'm Kie, JJ's wife, nice to meet u!" Kie said as she smiled, shook her hand and hugged her. "Oh I'm sooo glad I got to meet u during my last few hours!" My mom said excitedly. "And I'm glad I got to meet u as well and that JJ got to see u too!" I said happily. "But did u tell Sarah?" I asked my mom. "No I haven't and won't so u will be the news barrier to her...oh and ur the new owner of my mansion down the street...the keys are on the counter here and u can live here and enjoy ur life with ur lovely wife!" My mom said as she smiled at the both of us. "Thanks mom but u rlly don't have to do this." I said to her. "But ur my son and u deserve this because this is the only thing I ever gave to u." She said as tears formed into her eyes. I can see that Kie got teary and hugged my mom and said, "thank u sm for this and thank u sm for making ur son the man he is because I love him sm and he's the best thing that's ever happened to me!" Kie said as she smiled at me.

We stayed for a few more hours and saw the lifeless body of my mom and both Kie and I cried and comforted each other as I had to sign some papers for my mom and it was sad that our reunion was cut very short. I just wonder how Sarah react to this.
