Ch. 28

Kiara's POV

So I called Sarah and told her everything that the doc said and she was very mad.

"Bro like why would that doc say that like wtf!!" She said angrily. "Idk he has an obsession with all of his female patients." I said. "But he said it to JJ or to u?!" She asked confused. "Well I was scared to answer so JJ answered and talked to this doc and he was yelling at the doc...and I love how he protected me in this situation." I said as I was smiling. "Awwwww girllll thats soooooo cute!!!!!" Sarah said excitedly. "But I sooooo wished that it wasn't a miscarriage..." I said in a down tone. "Girl the right time will come I promise u!" Sarah said comforting me. "Yea it will...gotta go now it's dinner time bye Sarah!" I said smiling. "Bye Kie! Have fun!!" Sarah said smiling as well.

We ended the FaceTime and I got ready for this date that JJ had all planned out. I wore a summer dress as JJ wore a nice top with shorts. We went to the beach area and it was this really nice restaurant.

"I love these kinds of date nights like it's very cute!" I said smiling admiring my husband. "Ik you love it but I just want to make u happy especially after this past week." JJ said as he was smiling at me. "Awwww baby! I am happy with u even when it's a good or bad day...I'll always be happy to be around my husband that's for sure!" I said while smiling and he held my hand. "And u do have the cutest accent as well after living here for a few weeks!" I said as we both laughed. "Same to u too!" He said in an Australian accent.

I mean we did get the accent since we have been here for a few weeks but we know when to use them and when not to use them like when we are out and talking to other people that's when we use it but when it's just us two we don't use it. We also haven't told the pouges that we learned this accent and it would be pretty funny if we did a prank to them about this.

"Babe I have an idea on how to prank the pouges!" I said excitedly. "Well then what is it?!" JJ asked and I basically told him the whole prank and he liked it and agreed with me. "John B and Pope would freak whenever they hear our accents!" JJ said as I agreed with him. "Yup and Sarah and Cleo would love it!" I said. "But let's think about that later because I wanna talk about that doc." JJ said in a serious tone. "That doc is super duper weird and I'm glad that I don't go to him. Look baby, I'd never cheat on u and if u don't trust me, then don't!" I said in a louder tone as the whole restaurant heard. "Look I do trust u it's just that idk why everyone who knows that we are married are hitting on us." JJ said. "Bro that's soooo true! I guess we are a hot couple!" I said as I smirked at JJ. "And I'm sorry for raising my voice at u like I should've not done that..." I said upset. "Look it's ok we both just wanted to get our stress out." JJ said while comforting me.

"Omg omg omg omg babe look...that's the doc with his wife!" I said pointing to the doc and his wife sitting at that table. I turned around and I was super mad that he was here. "Well I guess he has two kids too..." JJ said as I quickly turned back to seeing those kids that don't know what their daddy does to them. "Those poor kids don't know what kind of dad they have..." I said in a sad tone. "Tell them the truth...I'll be by ur side the whole time." He said as he smiled and held my hand. "Thank u baby! I am going to do it because those poor little angels deserve to know who their dad truly is." I said as we walked up to their table and the doc looked horrified to see both me and JJ.

"Omg who would've thought that I would see my ex doctor who clearly is a cheater in every way!" I said smiling and knowing that I just made him very angry which made me and JJ super happy. "Uhhh what r u talking about...he's my husband." His wife said. "Clearly he secretly cheats on his female patients...yea their have been many complaints." I said. "I feel very bad for ur kids to have to deal with this." I continued. The doc didn't even move or speak to us. "Rob is this true?!?!" His wife said and he didn't answer back. "Is this f-ing true Rob?!?!" She yelled back at him. Apparently his name is Rob but we always went by doc. Rob checked his watch which is really weird as to why he was looking at his watch. "Oops gotta go now..." He said as he was trying to leave. "Ma'am can u please tell ur husband to not leave this table." His wife said. "Ofc I'd do it." JJ said as he walked over to where the doc was sitting and stood behind his chair. "Tell me the truth Rob...I need to know if this is true." His wife said. "It's true every time a female patient comes to me I call them later at night to see if they wanna hang." The Doc said. "Our marriage is over and u have no custody over ur children now get out of here!!! I want to divorce u!!" His now apparently ex wife said as he got up and left.

His ex wife was breaking down crying. "Hey it's gonna be ok..." I said trying to comfort her. "No it's not, now I have to raise two kids alone and not only that, I have to work my two jobs just to have my kids living under a roof and now to add that file for a divorce and try to win custody over my two children." She said as she was crying. "And that's when my husband and I will take care of u...we will buy u a house with ur two kids and will give u some money to pay off that divorce with that guy!" I said and JJ agreed with me. "Thank u guys sooo much...I don't even know ur names, what r ur names?!" She asked. "Well my name is Kiara Maybank." I said. "and my name is JJ Maybank." JJ said and her face lit up as if we were famous people. "Omg u two own that surf shop! It's my fav shop! And I've read the whole story behind it as well, so u two live in the Outer Banks?" She asked happily. "Yea we do but now here because of the whole lockdown situation." I said. "And my mom lived here too so we came to visit and saw her for the last time, which ur ex made her pass..." JJ said as we both were upset and she clearly was in shock. "Omg I'm so so so sorry that happened to the both of u and I think he did that to ur baby too because he did tell me that night on how he was just super excited that one of his patients had a miscarriage and I was wondering why." She said in an upset tone. "If I ever see him again he doesn't know what's coming for him!" JJ said angrily as I just started to cry and the ex wife cried with me as well. JJ distracted the two kids while we were crying in the middle of the restaurant.

"I think it's almost bed time with the kiddos...I should go...and thank u sm for the offer but I think I'm happy where I live and I'll just go quit my two jobs and go get my dream job!" The woman said as she started to get up and leave with her kids. She said bye to us and the kids said bye to us as well by saying, "Bye Uncle JJ, Bye Auntie Kie!" That's super cute! "Oh and we never got ur name?!" I said to the woman. "Omg I totally forgot because I was super mad and sad. It's Madelyn!" She said as she smiled. "Omg like that actress, Madelyn Cline!" I said excitedly. "Yup, and would u two love to babysit the kids sometime whenever I just want to go out with my friends?! Madelyn said happily and the kids were cheering yes the whole time. "Yes we'd love to!" The both of us said as we smiled.

They left the restaurant and JJ and I went back into the car. "Wow that's pretty sad for her." I said. "Yea and those kids too because they are super nice and innocent." JJ said. "But omg ur soooo good with kids! Can't wait to see that with our kids!" I said as we both smiled. "Me too!" He said as he leaned in to kiss me and I kissed him back. I can't wait to build a family with JJ!
