Things so far

"Menma, Boruto! Wake up! Get ready for school!" Naruto yelled from downstairs, he was preparing breakfast. Tomato slices, eggs, bacon, and rice.

Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!

"Hahah! I was first!" Menma danced victoriously. "Whatever, it wasn't even a race!" Boruto whined. "Come eat!" The two made their way to the table, "Morning mom!" "Morning mom!" "Ha! I said it first!" Menma bragged. Boruto rolled his eyes.

Naruto chuckled, "Morning loves, how was your sleep?" He asked, placing down plates of sliced tomatoes and toast in front of the two. "Good!" They said together. "That's nice, hurry and eat, then get ready for school," Naruto said. "Hn."

Naruto placed their lunch boxes in each of the backpacks, as the kids raced upstairs too get ready. The blond began to get ready too. Minutes later, Naruto was waiting by the door. "Let's go!"He shouted. The twins ran downstairs, grabbed their backpacks, and raced to the car.

Shutting the door behind him, he made his way to the driver's seat. " Mom, can we get ramen after school?" Boruto asked, Menma's eyes lit up, "Yeah, can we?" "Sure, we can go eat at Ichiraku," Naruto replied. Menma and Boruto smiled at each other in excitement and planned what they would order.

"Bye mom!" "Bye mom!" The two yelled out to the blonde, who waved them off.  "Let's go meet Mitsuki before class," Boruto suggested. "Race ya," Menma started running. "Not fair! You got a head start!" Boruto yelled after him. The two boys laughed, screaming, and yelling at each other all the way to class.

It was 7:30am, Naruto just clocked into his first job of the day. The kids were already at school so he had nothing to worry about.

The blonde put on his apron and went to the cash register. "Good morning Ms. what can I get you today?" "Umm can I just get a caramel   macchiato?" She asked. "Of course, that'll be 6.89." The lady paid and sat down at a nearby table.

"Morning Naruto, how's Menma and Boruto?" The blonde's co-worker, Sakura, asked, just clocking in.  "Good, where's Hinata?" "Oh she's out sick," The bubblegum haired girl replied a light pink tint on her face. Naruto hummed and began making the lady's drink.

"Bye  Sakura!" He yelled from the door of the cafe. She waved back. It was currently 2:10pm, Naruto was now heading to pick up his kids from school.

"Mom! Mom! Over here!" Menma waved. The two ran to the car. "Hi sweeties, how was school?" Naruto asked, turning the car on and driving away. "It was good, look we made pictures of us!" Menma and Boruto held out their pictures.

"Aww, that's so cute. Who's that?" Naruto asked, pointing at the mystery stick figure. "Oh that's dad, I don't know what he looks like though, so I put a Question mark as his head!" Menma explained. Naruto hummed and drove to their favorite ramen shop.

They took a seat at a booth. "Naruto!" Teuich, the owner, exclaimed. "Let me guess... one miso ramen and two tomato ramens?"

"You forgot th-" "Oh how could I forget, with two plates of sliced tomatoes," Teuichi added. "You always forget that old man!" Boruto yelled. "Ohoho my bad, I'll go get your food," The old man walked away with a smile.

 Minutes later Teuichi came back out with his daughter holding the bowls of ramen and the sliced tomatoes, the two placed down the food "Enjoy! And don't eat to fast now, haha!" They walked away and let the others enjoy their food. The three thanked the old man and began eating.

After they ate Naruto brought the kids home and went to his last job at a restaurant.

He walked in and put on his apron. "Naruto, the tea is hot!" Ino had an excited expression. "Ooh~ I wonder who it's about, please do tell." "So you know how Kiba and Hinata have been 'dating' for years?" "Yeah," He replied.

Naruto began handing waters to customers that had just sat down while listening to Ino's daily gossip. "So apparently them dating was a cover up!"

"For what?" "For them being gay!" Ino said in a 'wasn't it obvious' tone, "Hina's parents don't support lgbtq, neither does Kiba's, so in order to get away with it, they pretended to date as a cover up!" "Oh my gosh, I knew it! I always had a feeling Kiba swung the other way, he dresses the part too. So, they have to be dating other people, who are they?" Ino waited for it to sink in. "Ohhh, is it Sakura and the muppets guy?" Ino nodded.

"Oh now I know why Hinata wasn't at work today..."

 It was 11pm, Naruto had just got home, he made his way to the kid's bedroom to check on them. Seeing them sleeping softly, he smiled to himself, and retired to his own bed.
