Chapter 2: Nigga please

It has been weeks since the attack and so far, Steve has seen no signs of Tyler. Even though he still has the scars, he has seem to move past it even working at a new pizza shop. Which Ashanti's brother owns. Him and Ashanti now have a strong relationship.

*Steve's POV* 

*May 20th 3:00 pm*

*School parking lot*

I dap up Syd and was getting ready to leave until Dj ran up to me. 

"I'll handle him Syd text me when you get home."

"Alright and keep me updated on everything."

My birthday is in 3 days, I can't wait! Syd and Matt get into the same car and leave.

"Steve get your fucking boy together."

What the hell is talking about now?

"What are you talking about?"

"I just came from the skate park, and some guy just came up to me pressing me about you and Ashanti."

"What he say?"

"He was asking how close you guys are and if you guys kissed, I told him that's not of my business."

Coldness covers my whole body.

"Did he say what his name is?"

"No but he was wearing this old ass supreme hoodie."

"Wi-with some busted ass vans?"

"Yeah"

"Dj... You need to stay away from him at all times do you understand me?"

"Yeah, I will but who the hell does he think he is anyway?"

"Look Dj just stay away from him and alert any of your friends."

I dap him up and jump into my car. Tyler is going to kill her!

*Rusty's Pizza shop* 

*3:20 pm*

I can't take my mind off what Dj had told me earlier. If Tyler hurts Ashanti, I don't know what I would do with myself. I really love Ashanti she's all I got. Then Lorenzo interrupts me, he had given me the job in the first place.

"You okay Steve?"

"Hell no."

"What's going on?"

He leans against the wall while he watches me knee the dough.

"Your sister is in big trouble."

He rolls his eyes.

"What did she do now?"

"It's not her it's this guy and he might hurt her."

"Well, where is he maybe I can talk to him."

"Trust me you don't want to. You can't."

"Why does he want to hurt her?"

"Because I'm with her"

"Take care of him Steve unless you want me to deal with it."

I stop what I'm doing and stare at the dough.

"Steve?"

"I'm fine. Look I'll deal with it I just wanted you to know to watch your back."

"Alright if you need anything I'm here."

He walks away and once again I'm left with my thoughts. How the hell am I going to take care of him? Thinking about him makes me want to roll the pizza cutter across my neck. I finish the pizza and go to wash my hands; I pumped the soap onto my hands and took a quick look into the mirror. My face went pale as I seen Tyler standing behind me with an unholy grin on his face, I slowly turn around just for no one to be there. What the hell is going on with me? I walk away from the kitchen and find my way to Lorenzo's office.
