IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE

"It's bigger on the inside!" Riley exclaimed as both the Doctor and I mouthed the words at the exact same time.
"Yep, you'll get used to it." I said not wanting to go in any more depth to him right this minute.
"Okay, Lily, why don't you go grab me a sword from the wardrobe, I'm sure I have one in there."

When I returned, he grabbed it off me and went over to Riley. He prepared and then sliced down the centre of the ropes that had kept Riley's wings bound together for who knows how long. "Lily would you like to show Riley to your room?" He gestured towards the room I had been sleeping in.

"But there's only one bed doctor." I looked at him in a way that meant 'no way in the universe that I am sharing a bed with him again'.

"Well I'm sorry to say but there is only one spare room." He sounded too happy to say this.

"Well where did my parents sleep when they traveled with you then? Couldn't Riley sleep in there?" I asked desperate to find an alternative.

"Sorry, but that room is out of bounds for now. There is too much information that you aren't ready to see or hear about yet in there. Seriously, I thought. "Fine. Come with me." Riley followed as I lead him to my room.

The double bed sat in the corner of the small room and it had been freshly made. I showed Riley where the wardrobe was and told him that he was to sleep on the left side of the bed. He agreed and immediately slumped himself right into the centre of the bed and stretched his arms and legs out as far as he possibly could to try and annoy me. I stood there with crossed arms and a 'I am not amused' look spread across my face. His face was filled with a corny grin and a look of accomplishment in his eyes.

I took a breath and decided to ignore him and leave him to his childish schemes. As I approached the console, the Doctor peeked out from behind like he was hiding something from me on the screen.

"What is it Doctor?" I asked curiously.

"Oh nothing, never mind." he shrugged.

"Doctor..." I insisted.

"It's River. She sent you this." he handed me an envelope, similar to the one I had received before the meeting last time. I breathed and opened the package. It read:

Dear Lilly-Anne,

As you have probably guessed, the candle included, when lit, will emit a scent that will trigger your sense of smell and you will fall into a different reality where we will meet you. This room is where we held our meeting last time.

The candle's scent has the same chemicals as this paper has embedded into it.

See you soon, River Song.

As my eyes wandered over her last words, I felt myself falling into a sleep that was deeper than I'd ever faced, but instead I woke up sitting in a familiar room on an office chair stationed at a long table with familiar faces. There was River and her daughter Katelyn, Clara, Madame Vastra, Jenny and of course, Strax.

"Good evening Lilly-Anne."

"Madame Vastra, nice to see you again."

"Now let's get on with the meeting, shall we." she started.
