Their life had come back to normal after coming back home. Emma and Norman, and the kids, would write letters to their family. The kids would come to their parents and ask them to write a letter for Revna. Revna would happily answer them. James was able to write his own letters.

Frey loved to try and imitate Emma when she was training. James liked to train with his mother too, but he mostly liked to play one of his father's music instruments. Mujika liked to try her father's music instruments too as well as drawing with him. She could often be found humming a song as she drew.

It had been a while since Emma had went on a raid since she wanted to take some time to be with her family. She was slowly going back for some, noticing how she had actually missed this.

Of course Norman was always worrying for her whenever she goes to one. Like always. Nothing had changed about that. And that, even if Emma would reassured him that nothing bad would happen.

December was coming to an end soon and the twins knew an important day was coming as well.

On December 27th, it was their big brother's birthday.

James would turn eight year old. They were both excited and, everytime their brother wasn't near them and their parents, they would remind their parents about it. Of course Norman and Emma hadn't forgotten about their oldest kid's birthday. They would never forget one of their kids' birthday.

On the famous day, they had sent James to go fetch them something in the village while they finished the preparations for the surprise.

When the boy came back home, he was welcomed by his family's shout.

« Happy birthday, James! »

His siblings came to hug him as he let out a giggle.

« Thank you! »

Seeing their children smile and be happy was the most important thing for Norman and Emma.

They would make sure that this happiness stays forever.

No matter what.

On a cold day of winter, while the warriors, including Emma, were away, the village was gladly helping out each other.

Norman alway prioritize their children, thinking about himself only when he is sure they will be alright. Of course, Mujika, Frey and James know that their mother wouldn't be happy if she was to learn about that. They weren't happy themselves. They knew that, if they were to be out of food, their father would make sure they all have something to eat. Even if it mean that he would not be eating.

The three siblings, of course, noticed how their father was shivering because of the cold after he gave them his coat so they could keep themselves warm.
