Tae and Esenae had finished getting dressed, but were still waiting on Belly to decide if she wanted to wear the dress or not.

Esenae groaned as she fell back on her bed beside Tae, listening to Belly in the other room explaining how unhygienic a thong is. Suddenly, the Conklin girl entered the room, throwing her phone at Esenae.

"Taylor wants to talk to you while I'm getting ready." She states.

"We're going!?" Deonta cheers as he sits up. "Thank, god!"

"What's up?" Esenae spoke to the girl on the phone.

"You never sent me a picture." Taylor states.

"You were serious?" Esenae questions, looking over at her best friend who had a huge smile on his face.

"Dead serious." Taylor laughs. "Let me see what you're working with."

The Fisher girl was currently screaming on the inside as she propped the phone up on the dresser, doing a 360 for the girl. Butterflies swarmed her stomach as Taylor said, "You are so goddamn beautiful."

It was normal for Taylor to give compliments, but her compliments consisted of, "hot", "fine", "sexy", "I'd hit that". But she called Ess beautiful.

"You think?" Esenae smiled, repeating the girl's words in her head.

"Yeah. I'd hit that." Taylor spoke carelessly, reminding the girl that she was in fact straight and they had no future.

"I-I think we're about to leave." Esenae stuttered.

"Alright. Mwah." Taylor kissed the screen. "Bye, babes!"

"Bye, Jewel." She hung up.

Babe and babes. There's a difference. Which is why there were no butterflies in Esenae's stomach when Taylor called her 'babes'. It was a friendly thing. But babe, even if Taylor had said it as a friend, it would've left the girl with damp panties and she would've thought back to the moment later that night.
