Katniss Everdeen eagerly prepared for her friend's party, an occasion that should have been filled with laughter and joy. She rummaged through her wardrobe, hoping to find an outfit that would make her feel beautiful and confident. But as she tried on dress after dress, her frustration grew. None of her old clothes accommodated her growing baby bump.

With a heavy sigh, Katniss settled on a pair of comfortable leggings, their elastic waistband stretching to accommodate her changing figure. She paired them with a loose-fitting top in a soft pastel hue, a gentle reminder of the vibrancy of life she carried within her. Wanting to add a touch of style, she threw on an open jacket to complete the ensemble.

As she arrived at the party, the energy of the gathering filled the air, mingling with the flickering lights and laughter. Katniss couldn't help but feel a pang of self-consciousness as she noticed the elegant dresses and sharp suits worn by the other attendees. Her chosen outfit, though comfortable, didn't match the level of sophistication displayed around her.

Her friend, understanding the challenges she faced, approached her with sympathy and a warm smile. "You look beautiful, Katniss," she whispered, her voice filled with genuine kindness.

But amidst the support of her friend, the whispers of judgment reached Katniss's ears. The other kids at the party, fueled by their own insecurities or a lack of understanding, couldn't resist the temptation to mock her appearance. Their words, like sharp arrows, pierced through her fragile confidence.

"She can't even dress properly," sneered one girl, casting a disdainful glance in Katniss's direction. "Pregnant at her age, what a joke," added a boy with a mocking tone, his laughter echoing through the room.

Katniss's cheeks flushed with a mix of anger and embarrassment, but she refused to let their cruel words break her spirit. She sought refuge in the strength she had cultivated throughout her life, drawing upon her resilience to rise above their judgment.

With determination in her eyes, she stood tall, reminding herself of the love and courage that burned within her. Their mockery couldn't erase the beauty of the life she carried or diminish her worth as a person.

Katniss Everdeen grappled with the reality that her growing baby bump rendered most of her old clothes unusable. Frustration and vulnerability swelled within her as she faced the challenge of finding new attire. Determined to assist her, Katniss's mother promised to accompany her on a shopping trip. However, fate had other plans.

Days before their planned outing, Katniss's mother fell ill, leaving her unable to fulfill her promise. Frustrated and disheartened, Katniss pondered her next move, longing for support in this daunting task. It was then that both Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne stepped forward, volunteering to accompany her on this crucial shopping excursion.

Together, the trio ventured into the bustling town, ready to face the judging eyes and whispered comments. Peeta, his voice filled with unwavering loyalty, spoke up in defense of Katniss as they passed by a group of gossiping townsfolk. "Have you forgotten that Katniss is a fierce and capable warrior? She deserves our respect, not mockery." His words reverberated through the crowd, momentarily silencing the jeering voices.

Gale, ever protective, stood by Katniss's side, his presence a reassuring shield against the prying eyes. "She's carrying new life within her. That's something to be celebrated, not ridiculed," he declared, his voice carrying an air of authority that commanded attention.

As they entered a clothing store, the sales attendant approached with a mixture of curiosity and judgment. Sensing Katniss's unease, Peeta stepped forward, his voice firm but kind. "We're here to support Katniss in finding comfortable and stylish maternity clothes. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated."
