Demonic Duo

The next day Diane wakes up in her bed and looks around. It was bright outside her window so she knew that she should get up. She sits up and rubs her eyes before getting to her feet. She leaves her room looking for Devin but he wasn't in the living room or kitchen. I should probably wake him up. Diane thinks, walking into his room. There were only messed up bed sheets on the bed. The door slams shut behind Diane and she turns around quickly. She looks at the door to see a paper taped to it. She rips the paper off of the door and reads what was written on it. "If you want Devin back, meet me at Central Park at midnight." it read. Diane drops the paper and sighs. "Damn it." she mutters. She goes into her room and grabs her super suit out of her closet. She lays it out on her bed and starts getting ready. She puts on her suit and opens her bedroom window. She climbs out and jumps backwards, making her fall through the air. She opens her wings and catches herself before she could hit the ground. She starts flying and she gets to the top of the building. She sits down at the edge of the building and looks around for where Scarlett could be, but she can't find anything. Diane knew that she would have to wait until midnight to fight her.
After hours, it was dark out and Diane was ready to fight. She climbs out of her window and jumps into the air. She starts flying to Central Park and lands in a clear field. She looks around before looking to the sky and seeing Scarlett with Devin being held by black smoke behind her. Diane gets in a fighting stance and gets ready. "Let him go." Diane says, demandingly. Scarlett chuckles, making Diane shiver. "If you want him so bad. Come and get him." Scarlett says. Diane throws fire at Scarlett, but she dodges it by leaning to the side. Diane charges at Scarlett and throws a punch, but Scarlett catches her hand and throws her back. Diane hits the ground and gets back up. She starts flying towards Scarlett and kicks her before landing back on her feet. Devin gets dropped to the ground and they both get ready to fight. Scarlett gets back up and a sword appears in her hand. She throws it at Devin, but Diane shoves him out of the way and gets hit. "Ah!" she shouts, laying back on the ground with a sword stuck in her chest. She pulls it out and stands up. She charges at Scarlett and swings the sword at her. Scarlett catches the sword with her dark magic and Devin kicks her down. Scarlett falls onto the grass and gets on her knees. Diane kicks her back and a flame appears in her hand. She steps on Scarlett, ready to throw the fire at her. Scarlett raises her hand and black smoke surrounds Diane. Scarlett flicks her wrist and Diane is thrown into a tree. She sits there for a moment as Devin and Scarlett fight. She gets up and runs back to Devin. They both gang up on Scarlett and throw one punch after the other. After a while, Scarlett was on her knees from weakness. Diane opens a portal behind her and she looks at Devin. They both look from each other to Scarlett before kicking her backwards through the portal. Diane closes the portal and they both look at each other breathing heavily. Diane grabs her chest where she was stabbed and gives Devin a small smile. They both start flying back to their base feeling successful. They climb in through the window and go into the medical area. Diane rolls down her suit after getting a needle and thread. She starts stitching her wound up as Devin gets an ice pack from all the times he was punched. They had both won, but they didn't know that Scarlett wasn't completely gone.
