"What the hell is going on."
He muttered as he grabbed his head. It felt as though it were splitting open. The evidence of his hangover, although not strong ,was still a sign that something was wrong.
after gathering himself enough to form a comprehensible thought he took another look around the room. Just as he had guessed this was the room that stared in most of his unforgetable memories. Now the next question was why was he here.
Well, it wasn't hard to put it together but how did he find me? and even if he did catch me while on patrol who's to say I was even who he was looking for?
As long as I deny it continuously who can say I'm lying when there is no evidence proving our relation no mater how hard he tries he wont be able to prove it without me directly stating it.
With this in mind Damian finally found his resolve once again.
But not everyone was as level headed in this moment as he.

"What do you mean there's nothing?"
Dick stared at the screen of the bat cave's computer trying to find any error in the system.
"It's just as I said there's nothing, no dna match, no facial recognition, and no records"
Bruce ran his fingers through his hair struggling to think of a solution.
"He has no prints for me to take even if I tried to, there's no way to confirm that he is Damian except for his reaction to seeing me and even then his drink was spiked so theres no telling what he actually saw in that moment."
Bruce was exausted, more mentally then physically but exausted none the less. He had been at this for 2 hours since they brought the young man back and with no luck it was begining to look bleak.
"Well we have to figure something out, we can't just keep him locked up here forever especially if theres no way of proving he's Damian in the first place."
Jason tried to be the voice of reson but just as everyone else, he was hoping for even the smallest chance that this was their baby bird that had long left their side.
"Why dont we just ask him? that seems like the most straight forward way to find out."
Said Stephany pointing out what should have been the first step in this investigation.
"Even if we were to ask who's to say that he would even tell the truth, come on think of it, it's been five years and we havent even cought sight of him let alone heard from him. If he really is Damian we have no idea what he's been doing all these years, we don't even know why he left in the first place"
Jason stated getting more upset the more he thought about the departure of the youngest Wayne.
No one could refute this as they really had no way to tell what was the real reson for Damian leaving them, well every one but Timothy Drake who kept his head down as he listened even if he had known the reason what was the point in speaking out about it now when there was nothing that could be done to change the past.
