Every gust of wind kicked up dust from all angles, making it a much more difficult process to keep wounds sanitised. It became such an inconvenience that you had to try and barricade a portion of the opening of the medical tent with your cape; inhibiting your field of vision which was always something you detested in the field. However, at times it was a necessity, and this was no exception. You had Mirio keeping a sort of sentry by the opening, and he was doing his best to accommodate trying to look for new casualties and assist you in your treatments.

"Lemillion, I need you in here for a moment, sorry." You called out exasperated to him, wiping sweat from your brow briefly.

"Right, where do you need me?" Mirio said, appearing by your shoulder in a flash.

"These three students have lesions on their upper bodies. This one is from the other class, so check him over before sedating him and I need you to double check on the last student. I think they might have a fibular fracture and will need a splint if that's the case."

You pointed to all necessary parties as you rattled off their ailments. Mirio nodded to his instructions; amazed at how well you had organised each party for him.

"How are you doing this so well?" He asked quietly to you as you were checking over the deep infliction on one of your class members.

"Just practice." You said shortly. You weren't angry towards him; you just had a lot to do. "Besides, we can't let ourselves get overwhelmed in the field. You know this."

"Of course. I'm just curious if you had a trick to it, I guess. Something to focus towards." He said as he began cleansing and tending to one of the students with abrasions.

"I guess I just project the idea of someone I truly can't live without." You answered as you worked. "I mean, I care about everyone, but if I picture someone closest to me, it makes me want to work harder."

"Right..." Mirio trailed off. He felt his heart give an odd kick at the idea of picturing every patient as someone he was close to. His heart ached the most when the thought of you flashed behind his eyes. He shook his head slightly; he had to focus more.

Mirio had wondered something about his feelings towards you recently, but now wasn't the time to contemplate it.

"I'm concerned about this though." You admitted quietly, finishing up with the first patient and moving to the next. "I know as third years, we get a little more freedom with our quirks, but the amount of people here so quickly seems excessive."

"I think someone is a little too excited to be playing the villain." Mirio said, catching you off guard.

"You think?"

"Well, from my own personal experience, it's easy to get carried away with the idea of being the opposite of what we're striving for. Trust me, I know I did a little."

"Yes, but you only incapacitated people with a punch to the gut. Nothing like this."

"Think about it though, Patches. Not everyone sees heroism the same as you and I. I'm not saying that they're bad people at heart, but their approach to being a hero is not the same as ours."

"...Even so, this is some rough stuff."

"It's not what we would normally do as students, no. But look at this way; real villains would be worse."

"...I suppose you're right."

An enormous crash rumbled throughout the cityscape as an entire building came crashing to the ground; debris and dust swirling out through all avenues and into the sky. The ground shook from the collapse and set you off your balance momentarily.
