Your POV

You can't believe Dan had seen that. You hated seeing the disappointment in his eyes, the hurt. They weren't new scars; you hadn't done it in a while, buying tickets to London to come and see the boys had changed everything for you, it had changed the fact that you felt like you had nothing to look forward to, the fact that you had no real friends, the fact that no one would ever really physically comfort you because at the beginning, the boys had just verbally comforted you and you thought that was how it was always going to be. You tried not to think about the fact that you would have to go back home, that you would have to see your mums face again, see the disappointment in it when she looked at you. For now, you would focus on the way that it felt to be held by Dan when he could tell you needed it. You were here for a month and that meant a month of people knowing when you needed physical comfort and being able to give it to you. One month of being around two people who actually cared about you and wanted you to do well for yourself. This is what you would focus on. You left the hotel and headed back to the boys flat with Dan, stopping to say hi to a few fans and take some pictures, smiling at all the lovely things people were saying to you. One of the younger girls asked you if you and Dan were dating, to which, obviously, you said no. She then asked if you liked him and just as you were about to say no, you caught a glimpse of him in your peripheral vision, smiling at you, looking like the most beautiful human being to ever be created, he saw your expression and frowned questioningly. You smiled at him and then looked back at the young girl and just winked at her, you couldn't physically say no to the silly little question. She ran back to her mother giggling, looking back and waving at you when she left. About twenty minutes after saying bye to all the fans you were back in the flat, walking to Dan's room, which you hadn't actually been in yet, and dropped your bag on the floor. It was bigger then you could see in all of the video's, his bed only taking up maybe a quarter of the space making it easy to move around, lots of little trinkets filling the empty space. You smiled to yourself, all of the little things were things that made up who Dan was and you adored each and every one of them. You turned around and he was leaning against the door from frowning at you, probably because you were smiling. He looked beautiful. Stop it, he's your friend! You thought to yourself. "What are you looking at?" You asked, breaking the silence.

"You look beautiful." He said, running his hands through his hair, pulling it back from his face. You couldn't think of anything to say so you just looked at him and the silence seemed to last for eternity. Eventually he looked down at his feet mumbling something about going to find Phil and walked back in the direction he'd come. You just stood there, what the hell just happened? It was probably nothing, just a sweet compliment from a guy who wanted his friend to feel nice. But why had he said it to start with? And why had he looked at you like that after woods? Was he waiting for you to say something? Shit. You shouldn't be over thinking any of this; he was just your friend, nothing else. So why did you still have butterflies. Oh my god, brain, shut up! You're not sure how long you were sitting there for before you heard a loud "Oh my god!" from the kitchen, you got up and half jogged to see what was happening. Dan was standing with a note in his hand and a huge grin plastered on his silly face. You walked up and took the note from his hand.

"On a date, don't wait up! -Phil" You laughed, Phil was on a date! Good for him. You thought; he deserved it. Dan looked so unbelievably surprised you had to laugh at him, why was he so surprised that his friend had a date? Phil was amazing; you were surprised he didn't go on more of them. You shook your head and turned to sit on the couch.

You sat with Dan and played Mortal Combat for about three hours before Phil came home with a huge smile on his face, you had only turned around for about five seconds and Dan had managed to kick your ass. You turned and glared at him for a second before jumping up and running over to Phil, hounding him with questions about his date. He sat down on the couch and told you everything, her name was Skye, she worked at a cafe down the street and Phil had been crushing on her for a while now and finally got the courage to ask her out. He took her to a small Italian restaurant for lunch, where they had sat for an hour and talked about everything, he then took her to a small river where they walked and talked some more. At the end of the date, he'd walked her home and kissed her and she had kissed him back (Which he seemed surprised about) and told him to call her, which he promised to do. He looked so genuinely happy about it all that it made you happy about it all. He deserved someone that makes him feel like this. Phil joined Dan in playing mortal combat while you made some lunch when Dan's phone, which was on the kitchen bench, started ringing. It was Louise, another of your YouTuber friends from London who you hadn't gotten to see yet. Dan turned to ask who it was, once you had said it was Louise he asked you to 'pretty please' answer it and turned back to his game. You answered it and didn't even get a chance to say 'hello' before she was yelling down the phone, excitedly. "Oh, my god! Is she there? Put her on! Oh my god Dan pretty please!" She was saying, you laughed.
