It had been a few hours now ever since the whole Jeremy and Cole situation. I got up from my bed and stand by my CD player, Hm what to play? I thought to myself. I was flicking through my CD's when I came across my Fleetwood Mac one, that's what I'll play. I took the CD out of the case and put it into the CD player and hit play. I was just singing in my room when my phone began to ring so I turned my music down and answered.
"Hello? Who is this?", "Heyyy Lace, how you doin'?" It was Lilli. "Uhh nothing much just listening to Fleetwood Mac, I know shocker" me and her both laughed. I added on, "What about you?" "Oh just doing some crappy homework, my mom said I had to" she said as she made sounds as if she was pretending to cry. "Oh actually, something really strange happened to me earlier" I said, accidentally cutting of her fake crying. "Oh yeah what happened?" She began to sound concerned, god she was like a body guard to me. "When I was walking home I found Jeremy getting all up in Cole Johnson's face, you know the one we spoke about earlier? I wasn't ready to see Jeremy be a dick to yet another person so I did what you would do and insulted him hoping he'd just leave but instead he..started making out with me?" "WHAT?! THEE JEREMY KISSED YOU?!" She exclaimed over the phone, making me jump slightly. "Yeah! And it wasn't just a kiss he was grabbing my ass and everything. Ugh I feel sick just thinking about it and I couldn't even let go because he was holding on to me so tightly". "So like did Cole not stop him or do anything?!" She said starting to sound obviously annoyed. I answered quickly with "yeah I mean before I knew it Cole had pulled him off me and they starting fighting, get this right..Cole won!!". She scoffed, "Your telling me Cole Johnson won a fight against Jeremy?", "I'm telling you! He's actually a lot stronger then you'd think, he did get a black eye from it though. I'm still wondering why he did that for me, I mean he doesn't even know me! Maybe he's just a genuine good person but I don't know. I was thankful to him though either way". Lilli paused for a moment, "Well uh at least it ended well?" she asked "Well yeah I guess, I would've preferred it if Jeremy hadn't had his sloppy lips on mine and oh my god, does he have bad breathe!", I tried not to heave from the thought of it. "Only thing is I didn't get Cole's number or nothing so I can't even thank him properly", "Oh well I'm sure you'll see him around school maybe?", "Eh I guess, Uh Lil' I gotta go, I'm gonna go get a shower, Nice talking to you!", "See ya Lace!" is the last thing I heard before ending the call. ——————————————————————- The next day
I woke up, that's funny why didn't my alarm go off? I turned over to check the time..SHIT! It's 7am school starts in 20 minutes!! I threw myself out of bed and quickly searched for an outfit. I put on my beige cargo trousers, and an oversized tie-dye T-shirt. For my hair I undid my braids which made my hair wavy and tied on my hair bandana, pulling two pieces of hair out to the front. Not bad for 20 minutes.

I didn't really have time to do much makeup so I just did mascara, lip gloss and highlighter. All I had to do now was put on my red converse but they took me forever to put on. After I put my shoes on I walked down the stairs and found my mom drinking coffee in the kitchen, "I'm going to school now mom I'll see you later" I say before turning around and reaching for the door handle when my mom says "Um forgetting something?" and laughs, "right yes sorry mom" I say pretending to roll my eyes and give her a kiss on the cheek before stepping out the door.
I had just arrived at school and walked towards my locker. Why is everyone in the hall staring at me? I just tried to ignore it assuming it was because of my outfit or something, I didn't care.
I started putting in the code for my locker when Lilli and my other friend Brooke pull me quickly to the side. "What are u guys doing??" I whisper to them and Brooke whispers back "Jeremy's been telling the whole school that you and him date! Is that true?!" My eyes widen, what on earth?. "Ew what the fuck, of course not! Why is he doing that??" I ask but slightly louder. "We don't know! that's what we were gonna ask you! Do you think it's to do with him kissing you yesterday?" Lilli whisper shouted, "hold on he kissed you?" Brooke said looking more confused than ever. I gestured to them to be quieter, "it's a long story I'll explain later".
We were stood there whispering still when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around slowly and my eyes widened once again when I'm met with the sight of Jeremy looking straight at me. Before I say anything he grabs my hips and looks down at my lips. "Hey baby, your looking extra fine today", I shoved him off me, "Jeremy what the fuck do you think your doing telling the whole school we're dating! You bullied me for years, I would never date anyone like you!" Saying only the truth. I go to say more but I'm silenced with a hard slap across my face from Jeremy. I gasp and immediately hold the cheek he slapped. My friends stood there looking horrified, especially Lilli, I just know she's gonna make him regret that. "Listen up woman, don't you ever fucking speak to me like that again you bastard, now you eithe-" Lilli slams him against the locker, silencing him instead. His supposed 'Friends' all witnessed it and took a step back. She got all close and personal to him and leant in by his ear.
"Listen up Jeremy I've just about had it with you and your bullshit now you can make this extremely easy or extremely hard for yourself, you can either apologise to Lacey and never bother her or any of us ever again or you can refuse, and you wanna know what happens when you refuse?" He shook his head slowly and rolled his eyes, not a good time to act cocky. Her face was just centimetres from his face, she slowly slid her hands around his throat. "I'll squeeze your neck until your eyes are popping out of that puny..little..stupid head of yours and make I'll make sure I don't let go until I hear your lungs burst...now what will it be?" She flashes him a smile waiting for a reply. The circle around us was now full of quiet whispers as I looked over at Brooke completely dumbstruck, still holding onto my throbbing face while she's mirrors the exact same reaction.
Jeremy began to stutter, bad decision. "I- uh I-" Lilli started to tighten her grasp around his neck, "What will it be..Jer'?" She says bluntly squinting her eyes at him. "I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Freak ass bitch let me go!" with that she let's go of him, slamming him against the lockers one last time. "You chose the right answer my friend, now me and the girls have places to be, so goodbye asshole!" She then turns around to face me.
