Chapter Thirteen

Diana's POV:

"What came back when?" I ask, looking at Damien.

"Your memories." Damien asks.

"No just some flashbacks." I speak and he nods.

"Your highness the meeting with the other kingdoms will start in a few minutes I think you would like to change your attire." He speaks and I nod and go back to my room to change my dress.

I change into a comfortable black men's attire and wear my black hood over it to cover myself.

"Your highness its time." Damien says from the door's other side.

"Ok I am coming." I say taking my pen in my hands.

I leave the room and make my way towards the meeting room.

"Princess Diana is entering." the guard announces.

I enter and sit at the king's place and everyone from other kingdoms look at me shocked.

"I know it might be shocking to you but before you ask any questions, let me explain it all and then start the meeting." I pause for a few minutes gaining everyone's approval and then continue.

"I am the successor of the late king Deon Ackart. Being his successor and the devil's lord, I have claimed the throne as rightfully mine. This has been explained to the emperor of the Neverwinter. The games will take place as scheduled and I will partake as well to prove my worth of being the next king of Lopace. You might be thinking that the judge was to be the king of lopace but no this time the rules have changed due to the circumstances. The emperor himself will come and be the judge just like the old times. And for the rest of the details a meeting will be held when the emperor arrives. It might be in the evening, but you will be informed as the emperor sets foot in the palace. If anyone have any queries, he pr she may speak now or later you can ask my aide Damien about it he will explain it to you." I say and go silent to see if anyone has to say anything. They move their heads in a no.

"For now, the meeting is adjourned then." I say and get up from my seat and leave the room.

I go to my office and busy myself with paperwork. Loads of paperwork.

I was still in my office when I heard a knock on my door. I say a slight come in thinking that it is Damien, but it shows an unknown figure.

"Yes, who are you?" I ask as that person is in sort of a noble's dress.

Another figure from behind that man appears and says "Behold the sun of the empire Emperor Azriel Calen." and I at once stand from my seat and go on knees in front of the emperor "I greet the sun of the empire." "You may rise." the emperor replies and I stand.

"You should have informed me your highness about your arrival." I say to the Emperor.

"It wasn't needed." Replied the Emperor.

"Well, well, let's. Call every one of the other kingdoms for the meeting. I think the games shouldn't be delayed." the Emperor's Order's.

I slightly nodded and looked towards Damien as a sign to inform others. He nods and leaves What I gesture towards the king to follow me to the meeting room Which he surely does.

In a few minutes we reached the meeting room, and the emperor sat in the place where I sat before.

Everyone is sitting in their places. I go and sit on the emperor's left side.

"So, to begin with the meeting. Your highness please." I look towards the king to start the meeting.

"Due to the change in circumstances and situation the games will be overlooked by me. But whatever the results Princess Diana will be declared as the new queen of lopace in the coronation ceremony in the coming few days. Until then the games will go as planned. Princess Diana will partake as well to prove her worth, so I won't regret my decisions later. She doesn't need to, but she will she said, and I quote when I told her that she doesn't need to because she is already the only person who can. Any objections?" He looks around the room but getting no from everyone he continues "The coronation shall take place four days from now on. And so, the meeting is adjourned." the emperor said, and escorted the emperor to his room so he could rest after the long journey and the meeting.

After escorting the emperor and come back to my room take a bath and go to sleep as it is going to be a lot tiring day tomorrow then normal days.
