The beeping stops and a girl only just turned seventeen rolls out of bed squinting at the intense sunlight coming straight through the windows.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes she stands and stumbles over to the bathroom starting her morning routine.

She turns and looks at herself in the mirror putting in her lip piercing and earrings. Sighing she turns to the door dreading yet another day of school aka hell.

School is hell for most teenagers, but for her it’s about ten times worse. You see this girl is Bandit Lee Way.

Not only is she an outsider just like her mum and dad were, but she also has to deal with the fact that everyone knows who her parents are and constantly makes fun of her because of it.

Sure she has her best friends Cherry, Lily, Miles, Jayden, Avery and Carter who take the heat just as bad, they help each other through it and stay strong.

But for Bandit the bullying is so much worse, why? She doesn’t know. No one does, they just like to pick on her.

Begrudgingly she picks up her school bag and heads out of her bedroom door and down the stairs to the kitchen.

“Morning hunny.” Her dad says kissing the top of her head. “Looking forward to today?” You see their parents don’t know about the bullying, they don’t want them to know.

“Yeah.” Bandit replies with a fake smile and fake enthusiasm.

“Good, I’ll see you later okay? I have to get to work, have a great day!” Gerard runs off to his studio to finish a project he’s been working on with a cup of coffee in hand, leaving Bandit in the kitchen by herself.

Her mom isn’t up yet, she never is up before nine.  So Bandit makes her own breakfast then leaves the house to walk to school.

This is the story of a girls struggle to find peace, balance and love in her life. The path will be treacherous but she’s certain she can accomplish her goal.

Or will everything become too much?
