"What movie y'all about to go see ?" Sky asked.
"I don't know, im letting nika pick" I shrugged.
"Oh I thought you only liked scary movies" she said while putting some ointment on the tattoo she gave me.
"I do" I said and she chuckled. "You know she ain't picking no scary movie"
"Yea I know" I said while she pulled back. "I don't mind watching something she likes though"
Usually I would but... it's nika.
"So what y'all got going on ?" She asked me with a raised eyebrow. "What you mean ?"
"You know what I mean" she glared at me.
"I don't knowww, we just chilling" I shrugged then frowned "I heard she got a girlfriend.."
"She ain't got no girlfriend" she waved me off. "You would say that even if she did have one" I said giving her look.
"Look real talk, she never came to me about a girl other than you" she said putting her hands up. "And I knew about you early."
I smiled looking away from her. I'm still scared to fall for her though.
"Come on noonie" Nika said walking in.
"Bye sky" I waved at her. "Bye noonieee"
"Bye Tommie" I waved at her also. "Byee, have fun" she said while I grabbed my shoes walking out.
"Put your shoes on" nika said stopping me from walking any further. We put our shoes on then walked to the car getting in leaving.
"What movie you got us watching ?" I asked her.
"sum scary movie i seen" she mumbled.
I smiled "Awww babyy you picked a scary movie for me?"
"Yea. I ain't really finna be entertaining this movie either because I'm kinda tired so I might go to sleep" she said "Mhmm" I hummed knowing she not tired.
"You know I'll protect you from all the ghost baby"
"Girl gone on with that" she waved me off and I laughed. It fell into a comfortable silence until broke it.
"What did Wayne tell you yesterday ?" I asked her.
She glanced at me but didn't look for long before looking back at the road shaking her head. "nothin important"
"I could see it upset you... I didn't think you was gonna come see me cheer" I said and she sighed.
"I got in my feelings but I decided to stop being childish. We know what we got and that's all that matter." She said
I smiled "You really like me huh ?"
"Yes noonie.. I need you to trust me honeybun" she looked over at me.
"i'm scared" I whispered.
I don't wanna get used just because im a pretty girl. That's what most the boys do, they see my looks and come after me.
"I won't hurt you.. I promise" she grabbed my hand.
"I don't wanna bring you nothing but happiness noonie. Now im not perfect so of course I might mess up along the way but just know I would never intentionally hurt you" she told me.
"And what about yo girlfriend ?" I asked her.
She smacked her lips "I really wish you would stop it with this girlfriend shit" she rolled her eyes.
