Lauren pov
"Call me if you need me to come get you ok ?" She said while we pulled up to my house.
My mom has been calling me like crazy asking me to come home. At first I was ignoring her but I realized it's not her that hurt me it's my dad. I can atleast hear what she have to say before I run away and live with nika forever.
"ok" I said lowly leaning over to hug her.
I stayed wrapped around her for a few seconds feeling her rubbing me "tomorrow is our date" she said making me smile.
Every month we go out to the movies and watch something. I get to choose this time and it's going to be scary.
We do that instead of having a anniversary. We've been doing it for longer then we've been officially together anyway.
"Are you gonna pick me up from school ?" I asked tilting my head as I pulled back slightly.
"Mhm, so don't be taking a long time to come out"
"Ok daddy" I said leaning in to kiss her.
"you know you can come live with me right ? you don't have to stay" she whispered against my lips.
"i know baby" I said kissing her again.
"My mom didn't do anything but yell at me though. My dad is the one that actually hurt me so I don't mind hearing what she has to say" I said pulling back.
"Ok honeybun. Call me later"she said while I was starting to get out the car and I mugged her.
"No. I'm blocking you."
She began laughing loudly but nothing is funny. I'm dead ass serious.
"I told you to stop calling me that onika. You're blocked forreal while you laughing, and you bet not jump through my window. Matter fact I'm locking it" I said closing the door.
"I'm sorry baby !" I heard her say while I was walking to the door and rolled my eyes with a smile forming.
Once I got up to the door I used my key to get in them went towards my mom room ready to get this talk over with.
"Hey noonie" I heard my little brother say and looked over to see him coming to hug me.
"Hey Mike Mike , what you up in there doing ?" I asked him.
"Nothing I'm finna go with my friends outside" he said and I nodded allowing him to walk past.
"Be good !" I told him only to get ignored as he walked out.
"Noonie !" I heard my momma call out for me.
I walked to her room seeing her sitting on her bed and she looked over. "Come sit with me" she said waving me over.
I looked at her questioningly but went over sitting down. She looked at me for a few seconds while I avoided her gaze
"what is it ma ?" I asked quietly.
She just sighed looking away "I'm sorry for what your dumb ass daddy said h-"It's fine" I quickly cut her off shaking my head.
"i don't wanna talk about it" I said not wanting to cry.
"I don't blame you for choosing that girl" she told me "Nika isn't the one that made me chose.. he did"
"I know" she nodded.
"Choosing her is fair" I said after.
"I know baby. I understand why" she said and I nodded looking at my fingers.
