"Kuroko what are you waiting for?"
The said man turned his head around to see his childhood friend's face in confusion and worry. It has been about a week since they got here and Ogiwara couldn't helped but feel a bit concern over the blunet.
Sure, he saw Kuroko a few times before smiling like he got the whole world on his very palms and other times, he would locked himself up all day mumbling to himself of what was he doing this to himself. "Nothing." He said in a tone that meant that the ginger shouldn't asked any further than that.
He simply nodded as he gestured his head that they should enter the airport now. Kuroko looked back, a small reluctant glint appearing on his sky blue eyes before slowly following his old friend who was waiting for by the machine that scanned their belongings.
"You know Kuroko, you could always visit him again... It's okay to miss him." Ogiwara said as he entered the monitored door frame. "I don't miss him." He said convincingly to himself than the man in front of him.
"Right~" The twins said in mocked understanding before they snickered to themselves when the american woman and the blunet glared at them. "Oh shut it twins, Tetsuya I'm sure Sei wouldn't miss our flight, running a little late probably?" Alex tried to reassure but the butler simply brushed it off.
"He never runs late, he promised he would be here then where is he-"
"Right here Tetsuya."
The velvety voice of his ex lover made shivers ran down his spine, a tingling feeling that only he could make that had such an effect on him. Kuroko turned his body around and gripped his messenger bag too tightly that made his pale knuckles turner even white than usual.
Standing at the very middle of the busy crowd was a man in a simple black suit, he's hair gone a little longer and was combed sexily for this very purpose perhaps? Kuroko couldn't take his eyes off on one thing.
the bouquet of violet and white roses was wrapped in a light blue material that was mix with a splash of green and yellow. The twins automactically gushed behind the scenes as Akashi slowly but confidently walked towards him, a gentle loving smile etched on his light-tanned face.
'If this was a movie...' Kuroko thought trailing off mentally. He watched a few american movies before and most of then had this scene of which a guy went all his way to confess his undying feelings to the love of his life who was flying off somewhere and will come back maybe.
He didn't know what had happened but he knew the redhead was now in front of him, roses still in hand and the smile still plastered on his face but his mismatched eyes held a glint of mix nervousness and loving. Kuroko silently chuckled while patting Akashi's shoulder and in the same time taking the flowers.
He gave a small, tentative sniff. It smelled real but they were made out of some type of cloth that seemed to be the actual thing with a few dew drops on them.
"They're lovely." He gave an appreciative smile. His former master's smile grew a bit larger before winking at him.
He gave a gentle cackle, The blunet never took the redhead as someone who was more...of a romantic type.
He was secretly flirtatious, yes. but never did something like this, the only thing he found romantic was that date they had years ago.
The one that was simple yet hold so many memories.
He couldn't remember were they had gone but he knew it was his first ever date. snippets of them in each other's arms, specifically the blunet in the redhead's, the most brightest sunset he had ever seen, a candle, a basket and an old cherry tree that had their names carved out.
Simple but amazing.
"Have a safe trip Tetsuya, I'll miss you." Akashi said in a soft whisper. His lips just barely touching the flesh of his former lover's ear.
Another wave of shiver ran down his spine. "Alright... " That was only thing he could say right now apparently.
The redhead pulled back, lifted his hand and caressed the nice flushed pink that was appearing on his pale cheeks. "I'll come visit when I can find time." He said again as he stepped back and gave another loving but strained smile.
Truthfully, he wanted him to stay longer. Just even a little of his time could make him feel like he was on cloud nine.
He was planning on taking back Kuroko with him but he was not sure if that what's the blunet wanted right now. They had broke the misunderstanding of what happened three years ago and now their closure was another step.
A step if they could be lovers by any chance.
If possible.
He knew that the blunet was still insecure on the whole part of relationships but Akashi wanted to make it up to him. He would be what Kuroko wanted in a man.
No, what he needed.
He felt a soft lingering feeling on his right cheek. He was staring at the retreating figure of his former lover with wide eyes.
Did he... Did he just kissed him?
On the cheek that was...
He touched the cheek were Kuroko had kissed him. A small rushed of blood flowed up to his cheeks.
At the corner of his eyes, he saw a few people looking at him and some on the blunet. They must've witnessed that little public of affection.
Looks of loving, embarrassment, confusion and disgust were plastered on the witnesses' faces. He mentally rolled his eyes, for the love of anything holy out there.
"I LOVE YOU TETSUYA!"
Something swirling inside of the blunet's stomach and the light pressure placed on his heart were what he was feeling when he heard him shouting, basically confessing to him. The men he was with were smiling at him knowingly while Alex was rolling her eyes but had a small smile on her face.
The older twin nudged Kuroko on his side. "Eeee! That was rather sweet of him eh?!" and his brunet brother added, "You are one lucky gay to have a man like him... "
By the time the twins spoke their thoughts. The blunet was already covering his embarrassed face with his hands.
'Oh my, Akashi-kun you idiot!' He thought with a slight mentally threaten tone. But the happy grin on his face behind his hands showed that he was happy that Akashi was his.
If only.
