Carl and I were trying to find Enid, but we were already knew she must of climbed over the wall. We find Ron sitting on the grass throw knife in.

"Hey. You okay?" Carl asked as we walked up to him.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Ron replied not looking up yet.

"Have you seen Enid?" Carl wondered.

"Not since I saw her with you two." Ron answered looking up at us.

"I think she went over the wall just before the herd came and now she's trapped out there." Carl told Ron.

"What makes you think she isn't dead?" Ron asked clearly already believing it himself.

     "Have faith." I say.

    "Come on, man." Carl said.

Ron scoffs and got to his feet, back to us.

"Look..." Ron spoke turning to face us.

"I'll go find her. I just need your help. If you maybe climb up—" Carl started.

"I'm not helping you, Carl." Ron interrupted.

"This isn't for me. It's for Enid. Your friend." Carl explained.

"My girlfriend." Ron corrected angrily. "Or, I mean, 'cause she was anyway, right?"

"So you want to just leave her out there?" Carl asked.

"I told her to stop going over the wall, I told her there's bad people out there and it's stupid and dangerous." Ron said.

"Not if you know what you're doing. And she does." I told him.

"How would you know that? You don't know anybody here, you don't know her." Ron said to me.

"No, but she seems the kind of girl to know how to handle herself." I say.

     "Like you know?" Ron spoke.

      "I do. " I say.

"Well, Carl, I'm not gonna let you go." Ron said.
Carl sighed turning and walking away.
"Carl. Carl, you're not going out there." Ron walked forward grabbing Carl's arm.

"Back off." Carl quickly pulled his arm away turning towards Ron and giving him a shove.

Ron gave Carl a push in return, angering Carl.
Carl comes at Ron and the two start fighting, shoving each other.

    "Carl, stop." I say.

Carl looks at me before pushing Ron to ground.
Ron coughs looking up.

"I'll tell your Dad. He'll go out there to find you, then other people will, too. And then somebody's gonna die. Huh?" Ron threatens.

Carl stops walking and looks back.

"You saved my life and now I'm saving yours." Ron said still laying on his back.
Carl shook his head and walked off.

"He's not entirely wrong. Going over the wall now would just get more people killed." I say.

I walk behind Ron and Carl as Rick leads the way.
Gabriel put up poster but Rick ripped it down as we go by.

"Dad." Carl said but got no response as we continued walking.

Rick brought us to a table by the wall.

"Handguns be a little better for your first go. Magazine release. Slide release. Thumb safety." Rick explained picking up a gun.

"That stuff's easy, right, Dad?" Carl asked.

Ron looked over at Carl before turning back to Rick.

"Yeah. Empty magazine. Empty chamber. See it?" Rick showed Ron.

"Yeah." Ron looks.

"Someone's in front of you, they have a gun." Rick describe.

"You're gonna be scared." Carl told him.

"You will be. Everyone that's human is scared, just not everyone shows it." I say.

"Your body's gonna tense, you won't have time to think? You're just gonna want to pull the trigger when you get it in front of you." Rick clicks the empty gun to demonstrate. "But you'll miss and you'll be dead. You have to get it up to your eye."

"You've got to be strong enough to wait for your moment." Carl said.

"Can I, uh...?" Ron asked.

Rick handed Ron the gun. Ron cleared his throat getting ready before he got in position.

"Hey, your finger doesn't touch the trigger until you're ready to shoot." Rick moved Ron's finger as stood behind the kid.

There was a long pause before Ron pulled the trigger.

"Keep that one with you. Get a feel of what it's like to carry one around." Rick told him walking back over to the table.

"Can I shoot it? Maybe like down at the Walkers?" Ron wondered.

"No, with things how they are, the walls are strong, but we're lucky the Walkers are spread out. We don't want to pull them all to one spot." Rick explained.

"Well, what about, like, target practice in the centre of town? 'Cause then the sound will spread out in each direction." Ron hoped.

"The sound could make them more eager to get in." I tell him. "We can't risk that."

"Or maybe we could use, like, silencers or something like that. But, uh... I mean, we probably don't want to waste bullets right now, huh? Just want to learn more." Ron said.

"You will." Carl told him.

—————

I heard his footsteps as he followed behind us. He kept close. I wasn't sure if Carl knew he was following us but didn't want to make it known that I knew.

We hear the cracking of wood. We stop as we look up at the tall church tower that stood just outside the wall was falling towards us. Carl grabbed my hand as we run back. The old wooden tower destroying the wall in its path allowing the Walkers to flood in.
I pull out my machete.

"Rick." Michonne called as we made it onto the road behind him as Rick had Deanna's arm around his shoulders, Gabriel and Ron behind us.

"Good, you're safe. Come on." Rick said.

"There. There." Deanna pointed the Walkers out as we ran. I went for any Walker that got to close to our group.
Suddenly we were cut off as walkers limped in front of us. Gunshots echoed we looked to see Jessie.

"Come on, I have Judith!" Jessie yelled.
We ran over rushing into her house.

We hurried upstairs as Rick laid Deanna down.
I rushed over to her with Michonne.
