I have now been working in the record store for almost 2 weeks now, and I have finally learned everything there is to learn here. The owner seems pleased with my work already and always compliments me at the end of a shift. "great work today Maria. see you tomorrow." he says as i get ready to leave after closing the store. "Thanks, see you." I leave and find my phone to put on some music and that is when I notice that I have received a notification on my weverse. They have found the winner and will be contacting them today. As I begin to walk after finding my music, I get another notification. "Hello, BTS=life. We are pleased to tell you that you have been selected as the winner of our competition, if you send us your number we will call you and give you more details. Hybe entertainment." omg i can't believe it! I almost screamed as I read the message three more times to be sure. "my number is ********. Thank you so much for this opportunity." I pressed send, not knowing if they would respond to that. "You are most welcome." they then write. I jumped on the spot as I still can't believe it. I then hurry home. hoping they won't call before that. I almost ran all the way home. I open my door and throw my purse and keys on the couch and then remove my jacket. I go to the kitchen with my phone in my hand to get a drink to sit and relax with. i really want to take a shower, but can't because what if they call at that time? I will have to wait till after. as i just sit on my couch with a drink i decide i can just scroll through Insta. I see that the boys have put a new picture up of them sitting in a studio, working. I immediately like the picture and look at the description, but just as I am about to read my phone rings. I take in a deep breath and answer it. "hello this is maria?" "hello are you BTS=life?" "Yes, that's me." well hello then, as you may already know you have won the competition, and would like to figure out a day where you are free and then i will have the boys be free there as well. you can all figure out together what to do. what do you say about next saturday?" the man says. "I don't have work there, so it's fine with me. where am i supposed to go and do?" I asked him. "if you would please just give me an address i will have someone come to pick you up and around 11am, is that fine with you?" Yes, that sounds good. Are there any specific things they are not allowed to do? I was thinking about maybe having a drink at the end of the day." I said to him, "there isn't really anything they are not allowed to do so just have fun. they have the day off next day also so drinking is fine." he then says. "Ok, thank you so much for this." I said to him, "No problem. just be ready at the appointed time then so we don't get any conflicts from the start." will do". he then hangs up. I down my drink as I still quite can't believe it. Should I text Jimin to tell him it is actually me who won? nah i think it will be funnier to surprise him with it. I can't wait to see the shock on his face. It makes me giggle as I head to the shower.
