Back Story

       The revolt was painful for humanity. Having kicked the zarn excruciatingly off their planet. A word to describe the time after we won, mourning. Everybody lost somebody, everybody was hurt in some way. Sons lost their fathers, daughters their mothers, everybody was in mourning. And that was a main catalyst for the world government. When backed into a corner, kicked, and told your enemy had a huge space empire, people band together quick. That's just how we are. The United Terran Coalition was a child of this. It's roots in a small town in Indiana, USA. It's called Pine village. It started as a grass roots movement to get help to all the people without modern amenities to people in devastated areas that slowly grew into a full scale goverment. This government was essentially the United States with a twist. It was all related on someone's skill. When your direct superior decided who was up for promotion, he looked to the best person and picked them (or no-one). It also meant that if the person who you promoted screwed up, you also took the fall. This was counter-waited  by the fact that if your promotion ended out a great choice and they were helpful, it gave a huge bonus to you. However, when it came to the 3 most positions in the entire state, it was a direct democracy. Every vote counted.
       The names of the three positions were the chancellor, speaker of the house, and the Supreme senator. They were the top dogs of the entire UTE.
       This made them all dangerous in their own right. However where they shined was foreign politics. There was a section of the zarn that was tired of their horrible ways and wanted to separate. This did not go over well with the zarn and the one colony they had taken over was being threatened by an armada. Desperate, they offered to pledge their assistance to humanity in space ship construction if they got their colonist out. Humanities general inexperience showing through in this general circumstance. They accepted. This became the beginning of the most dangerous partnership in the known galaxy, humanity and their partners. The Enclave of brotherhood.
