Run

That was the only thing running through links head. He had to run, he had to run faster, harder! Link was trying, he really was, But his stamina was slowing down, and the monsters behind him weren't. Link made a sharp turn, cutting trough the forest he was in. He didn't even dare look back, he knows what he'll see Anyway's... he was quite surprised that he was even taken by surprise in the first place.

Link was sitting in a small clearing. Stirring what was going to be his dinner. When he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He quickly turned around to see a 5 silver bokoblin, and 10 golden bokoblins out and ready to kill him.

Link was able to fight them off to where there were 3 silver bokoblins and 4 golden ones, but something was... off about these bokoblins. They had black blood. Link had never seen any monster in all of hyrule that had blood like this. Another thing that link had noticed is that these black-blooded monsters were stronger then they normally were.

Link was put at a disadvantage from the beginning. Most of his fight were stealthy and used a bow. But these bokoblins were the ones that got the jump on him, meaning he couldn't use the same strategy as he normally does. So, he ran into the forest. It was obvious to see that these black-blooded monsters were going to take a lot to kill. And to do that, he needed to get some space between him and the bokoblins.

So here link was running from a group of annoyingly overwhelmed bokoblins while trying to keep some of his sanity and his life.

Link saw a rustle in the bushes he was about to run past, distantly link thought 'oh fun! More monsters! Just my luck...' but no, what jumped out of the bushes wasn't more monsters ready to corner him, but instead a wolf with weird markings on its forehead. It looked so... familiar to link, this wolf looked exactly like his old companion wolfie, who had left him the day after he beat the calamity. Link forced himself to lock onto the possible new enemy. But the wolf (he wasn't ready to think that it might actually be wolfie) didn't even bare a second glance at him before rushing to monsters behind him.

Link watch with amazement and part fear as the wolf took out 2 of the golden monsters easily and was going onto its 3rd one, when one of the silver bokoblins brought down its sword to attempt to get a hit in the wolf. The wolf—to its credit—just dodged and killed another of the golden bokoblins.

Link Finally remembered that oh- the wolf can't do all of this by himself and readied his bow to shoot at one of the silver bokoblins.

By the end of the fight, link was on the floor gasping for air. Who known that running for your life took so much out of you. The wolf came over to link, link was half expecting to have the wolf start attacking him but no..it just sat next to link as he was regaining his stamina.

Link hesitantly put a hand on the wolfs head, the wolf simply looking up at him and put his head on links lap, closing its eyes. Link took that cue to close his eyes and think over how he may have to remake his dinner.
