"So I heard from a little bird that you and my sister are going dress shopping this weekend." I switched the books out from my locker and shut it firmly.

"Thaaats right." Slinging my backpack over my shoulder I began to walk away.

"Mind if I come?"

"Sorry Garth, only girls allowed, wouldn't want to get your cooties and all."

"You haven't had your cooties shot?" Shaking my head I smiled a bit.

"Nah."

"Let me remedy that then." Garth grabbed my arm and tentatively drew two circles with two dots in the center. "Circle circle, dot dot, now you have a cooties shot!" He clapped his hands and flashed a grin. I couldn't help but laugh at he boy's crazy antics. "Now can I come with you?" Garth stuck his lip out and gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Sorry sugar, only girls."

"Fine fine, can I take you to prom then? As my date." I almost chocked.

"What?"

"I wasn't going to go but I thought maybe you'd make it fun? Please go with me?" I got quiet, trying to think of a response but the only thing that flashed through my mind was Alexander's face.

"Uhh..." He leaned forward, eagerness filling his eyes. "I'll think about it." I turned on my heel and swiftly power walked away.

"Think about it? Lina!" He ran after me.

"Bye Garth!" Escaping into my classroom I sunk down into the seat and stuffed my face into a book.

"What's going on over there, Lina?" Peaking up over the top of the book I saw worry and a gleam of humor in Mike's eyes.

"Garth asked me to prom." He raised an eyebrow.

"Garth as in new kid Garth?" I nodded and hit my forehead on the edge of the book. Oww. "So you're telling me that you ran like a bat out of hell into this classroom because a guy asked you to prom."

"That bad huh?"

"Geez I wonder what would have happened if we made it to this point." I got quiet. I wonder... I'd like to think he would have gone all out, renting a tux, limo, the whole shebang but now I'll never know. "Too bad we'll never know, I asked Colette to prom, the kid was ecstatic." I whipped around and looked at him.

"You asked my friend to prom? She's only a sophomore!"

"So? Lina get a grip."

"I do have a grip." I growled.

"Well anyway, I think I really like her, she's sweet." I nodded and faced the front. Technically I shouldn't feel my heart crack but I do. How can he move on so fast. She's my friend. Boys are stupid. I grit my teeth and tried to pay attention to whatever lecture I was supposed to be taking notes on. Whenever it was time to go I quickly exited the building. I knew it was rude to pretend I couldn't hear Colette calling my name but in that moment I didn't care. Call me a bitch but I don't like to share. God, I really do need to get a grip.

Alexander's P.O.V

I was still in bed when I heard the knock on my door. And then I smelled her.

"Come in." Rozalina came in, an emotion I couldn't place graced her face. "What's wrong?" She wordlessly came over and sat on the edge of my bed. I remember her, it seems like years ago, when she slept in here. Sitting up more I gave her my full attention. It looked liked she started a hundred different sentences before she finally burst out.

"Boys are stupid!"

"What do you mean."

"Well you know how Mike and I used to date?" Yes I was painfully aware. "Well we broke up not that long ago and he already asked a new girl to prom. She's my friend which makes it worse!" A growl came out of her throat as she threw herself back against the bed.

"I hate to point this out but you're-"

"Throwing a tantrum, which therefore earns me the tittle of brat. I don't care Alexander." I chuckled quietly and watched her turn to face me. "I know it's not fair for me to feel this way, I broke up with him, but it still hurts."

"I know, it will hurt, I still hurt when you bring up boys you like but it fair for me to think that way?" She looked away and sighed. Just then the covers beside me began to move.

"What's that?" Oh no oh no oh no oh no. "Alexander?" Dexter's head popped out as he ran to Rozalina. "Dexter! What are you doing in here?" Damn, I've been caught.

"He sleeps in here sometimes." She smiled at me.

"Awwwww. I knew you liked him!" She kissed the cat's furry head. What I wouldn't give to be that cat. "So you think that I should let him take another girl?"

"Essentially, yeah."

"So that means I can go with another guy?" This caught my interest.

"Yeah..." She jumped up and ran over.

"Thanks Alex." Quickly she kissed my cheek and scampered out. I watched her go. As soon as she was gone I sunk down into the pillows. The things that girl does to me.

Rozalina's P.O.V.

At school the next morning I had a better attitude. Thanks to Alexander. An annoying voice in my head pointed out. Shut up. You know you want him to ask you to prom. The problem was, I did. Ugh, Lina. As I walked into the cafeteria I was shocked. Garth was standing on a table with what looked like a hundred red roses in his hand. Behind him was a sign that read: Lina, prom?"

"I can't believe it."

"Lina Malcovich, would you do me the incredible honor of accompanying me to prom?" He jumped off of the table and walked up to me.

"Garth, what are you doing?" I whispered. He gave me the roses and smiled.

"Now you can't say no." Damn it, he's right.

"Of course I'll go with you." And as I said those words I figured maybe I'd get over these feelings I have for both Alexander and Mike.

"It's all set, I'll have the girl to you by prom." Garth's voice crackled through the phone.

"Good boy." Vivian purred.

"I'll see you soon." With that he clicked off. Vivian set her phone down. Raising from her chair she walked to a large cabinet. Inside was every kind of weapon and torture tool known to man.

"This is going to be so much fun." Vivian laughed quietly, an evil sort of laugh that sent chills down your spine and iced your veins.
