Your POV
I opened my eyes tiredly as I tried to adjust it to the light.. man I'm tired. I tucked myself under the comfort of my comforter until memories of yesterday's events flooded in my head. I ate and had gotten my fill... I sighed.. it couldn't be undone. At least I didn't cannibalize the Black Rabbit of Aogiri tree. It could've been war. Speaking of which.. where is he?! I ripped the covers and gasped, the ropes I used to tie him down was cut in half and he was nowhere to be found but as I opened my door I was greeted by the scent of coffee, the scent was alluring, but he's here.. in my kitchen. I glared at his back as he carelessly looked back at me
"Oh you're awake?!" I glared at him. How can he be so comfortable in the 20th ward when this ward is protected by the Ghouls in Anteiku
"Get Out!" I growled out, today was a Saturday and I don't plan on spending it with an enemy, he grinned.
"You're not one to tell me what to do.. Aogiri has been actively looking for One eyed Ghouls and if they don't join us, we kill them.. I can always report you, so you better watch your tongue" I stiffened.. he's right but, I won't obey a man from the organization I dread.
"What if I don't?" I'm pretty strong now since I just had a meal last night, I'm sure I can at least scare him away. I kept a straight face having a staring contest with the wall. But the contest was cut short as he grasped my chin and forced me to look at him, He draw in close.. way too close for comfort, I felt his breath fanning my cheeks as he chuckled
"If you don't, You're probably gonna need to re-grow it" I pushed him away, huffing whilst my Cheeks flared, I glared at him as I took my cookie jar, I grabbed a plate and placed at least 7 cookies on it, it's not the healthiest Breakfast but I'm a special case. I'm a ghoul who can eat Human food but it doesn't exactly fill my stomach, so I still need to keep tabs on my Monthly feed. "What the hell are you Doing you dumbass! I'm a ghoul and that shit stinks" He stated pinching his nose trying to block out the stench. But that's not the case for me because it smells sweet.
"I told you to get out.." he glared at me ".. and so what if you're a ghoul?" I questioned as I munched on the sweet and crunchy treats.
"I'll explain for the sake of you being an idiot! It means you don't have to pretend eating that shit in front of me" I stared at him unamused as I continued to munch on my treats.
"I really eat them though" he raised his brow, holding on to my wrist where the cookie was on
"So you basically try and poison yourself? Is that why you were walking around starving?" I glared at him, flicking my wrist so he would let go
"So? why do you care?!" I glared at him, realization seemed to have struck him and looked away.. I looked away from him too, and minutes passed and it was really really awkward.. "um so uhh.. how about a.. game? I mean you're a stranger to me and here you are inside my dorm I thought we should at least get to know each other?" I muttered. I know he could report me to Aogiri Tree's head but if he was going to do that he could've done just that when he broke free from the restraints. He nodded still awkward to actually look me in the eye
"So what game is it?" He now stated confidently in his jerk-like voice.. I think I preferred him when he was silent and awkward.
"20 questions just so, I can get to know someone who is inside my dorm with me.. okay so there's only one rule, you have to answer truthfully and no you can't switch out of the question.. okay so name?" He smirked
"Eager much?" I raised a brow to which he shrugged "Ayato Kirishima" he raised both his boot covered feet and placed them on top of my table. I glared
"Well Mr. Kirishima would you so kindly get your feet off of my newly washed table cloth?" He simply clicked his tongue and didn't bother to do as I asked..
"How about you. What's your name" I told him my name and that was basically what we did for the past 25 minutes, we asked questions and gave out our answers until he asked me that One question as his final one "what's so special about you? How come you can eat Human food while other one eyed ghouls can't?" I stiffened, I don't know what to say because Even I don't know how
"I actually don't know..." He raised a brow
"You have to know I mean it's you we're talking about" I remembered fire everywhere and my left eye stinging the memory snapped me as I shouted..
"I just don't okay?!!!" And that's when tears started to fall, he seemed startled by my outburst and awkwardly stood up from his seat to awkwardly wrap his arms around me..
"Err, it's alright? Fuck! Just stop crying okay? I fucking don't know what to do" somehow the tears had stopped flowing, but I didn't want his warmth to leave me yet and so I simply buried my head on his chest slowly let myself be eaten by sleep
