To start, I wrote this for our subject in senior high school, Creative Writing. That's right, I'm a HUMSS student. I already wrote the ending of the story, but apparently, WPS sucks, and it didn't saved the ending I already finished, so I had a last minute recollection and re-writing when my classmate and I was about to print it.
And here it goes...

A Mortal's Daring Heart
By .....He's soaring the heaven, he's trap below.
For his whole life, all he wish was for someone who will love him back. But unfortunately, he wishes for something so high. A mere mortal like Bartholomew shouldn't be reaching for the heavens as it will only give him hell. He gave sacrifice, dance for many creature he will fall unto, praise and sang for them. Alas, he still end up being unfortunate.
The world of Nebulon is of wonder and splendor. Many creatures live together, but do not expect it to be in harmony. The mermaids rule the ocean, the harpies and sylph rules the sky. But people do not often see them as they will usually mind their business, and stay out of others' affairs. The Great Mythical War gave mortals a lesson not to disturb them. And Bartholomew know all of that. But there was that one time where he found a handsome merman near the sea of Tritonia. He has shiny tail that makes Bartholomew drawn so badly in to him.
He succeededly befriended him and Bartholomew will always make the merman happy with his dance that it makes the merman jealous but also adore it. When he finally thought of declaring his love for the merman, everything changed. The merman was saddened and overwhelmed for what he has known. The mortal sees him more than a friend. And he thought, he cannot let such thing between them happen. What will his fellow merfolk think? As much as he adored the mortal, he cannot let such thing happen. So he waved his tail splashing a lot of water towards Bartholomew. Leaving his soul shipwrecked, alone in the sea of sorrow and despair for he experienced an unrequited love.
That's not the only time Bartholomew's heart was shattered, trying to get a hold for something out of reach. His friends always ask him, when will he learn? And it seems he still hasn't. As he will try to have a romantic connection with a literal god. As he was wandering around the forest he saw a porcelain skinned man walking around. He can't believe who he saw, it's Amphion. The god of beauty and creation. And he was amazed by his beauty. He always went to visit the forest and leave gifts for the god. Amphion is not oblivious to what the mortal is doing and he hoped one day Batholomew will stop even tho he enjoys it. Eventually, after long anticipation he finally expressed his affection to Amphion. Amphion was astounded with mere mortal's emboldened courage to try to cultivate a romantic connection with a god. He cannot let such thing happen, so he killed Batholomew with a burst of light. This no longer serves as a lesson, as he no longer breathes to even continue to walk the world.
~End~
(P.S I'm sorry if the ending felt forced, I already ended this story, but unfortunately WPS had an error and didn't saved my final edit, so I re-wrote it again)

So like yes, I literally pass it to our teacher with that side note.
I will try to revamp it next time I had a time.
