The reunion was a day a way and Desirée was so excited, she ordered a dress and had her nails already done. A lot has happened since then. She and Patrick were now on speaking terms...as friends and had volunteered to accompany her to the reunion.
Dominic was still upset with Sharon and was filing for a divorce. He was furious when he had learnt that Patrick was Desiree's escort and had insisted that she find someone else, but knowing Desirée she didn't back down. Him on the other hand had to take Sharon because the promoters of the reunion insisted on married couples taking their spouses. Ofcourse, upon hearing this, Dominic was hesitant about going but was, in the end convinced by Desirée of course. He also,was no longer wanted a part in being senator, so the good old lawyer only was what he wanted to stick with.

"So honey, the reunion is tomorrow and you still haven't told me who you're taking", Jackie muttered displeasingly.

Desirée sighed "OK fine, Patrick's my escort", she grumbled.

Jackie opened and close her mouth in shock.
"So you two are back together?"

"Nope, anyways, I've gotta run, I'll fill you in on all the deets when I get back", she said quickly grabbing her bag and moving towards the door. "Tell dad I said hi", she called, before she went through the door.

She picked up her dress from the boutique and made a quick stop at the salon. During her wait, she texted Donnielle and some other friends before it was her turn.

Dominic sat in his study playing with Arianna, as she laughed and cooed. She reminded him so much of himself, even with the gender difference. She was the only thing that mattered to him at the moment....Desirée also. They could always make him feel happy. Sharon on the other hand had to go; the woman bought nothing but misery to his life....well except for Arii. Tomorrow was the reunion, and the thought of bringing Sharon still sickened him. Well, that and the fact that Patrick was Desiree's escort. Sooner or later he'd have her all to himself, so he needn't worry.

It was the welcoming Sunday night, and time for the reunion. It was 5 pm and the event started at six. Feeling a bit peckish, Desirée quickly made herself and sandwich before she got dressed. She prepared it and was about to take a bite, when her phone rang. It was Patrick
"Patrick, hey what's up?".

"I-uh was just wondering what time I should pick you up", he asked.

"Uh- ", she quickly glanced at the phone "six thirty will do", she informed.
