The following morning was surprisingly laid back. I didn't have school, so I got to do whatever I wanted. There was a market that day, so once I woke up and showered, I headed into the market to do some shopping. For whatever reason, the markets were always cheaper than the superstores, so I made sure to take advantage of it every week. As I was walking through the village, a basket hooked in the crook of my arm, I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw a silver-haired Jounin reading a small yellow book.

"Oh, my apologies, Sir. I wasn't looking where I was going." I apologised, bowing.

"Don't worry about it." He responded, his voice surprisingly friendly. "Just try not to bump into anyone else, alright?"

"Yes, sir." I nodded before continuing on my way. The market was filled with people, as usual. As I walked through the different stalls, I was greeted by the people who were usually there, and I introduced myself to the people who were new to the market. I grabbed some bread from the local baker, then produce, jam, and things like that.

On my way home, I stopped at the bookstore to see if they had anything new. I had the discount they gave regulars, which made it a lot easier for me to get books. The bell above the door rang as I stepped in, Aso popped his head up from a stack of old books, his face lit up as he saw me.

"Asaca! You graduated from the academy!"

"Morning Aso! And yes, yes I did. You got any new books for me?"

Aso considered the question for a minute and then invited me to follow him into one of the aisles of books. He scanned one of the tall shelves before pulling one of the books off of the shelf.

"Here, try this. It's called The Foxglove King. I think you'd really like it." He said, handing it to me.

"Awesome, I'll try it out! How much is it?"

"Tsk, just take it. Consider it a graduation present. Send it back if you don't like it, and I'll find you something else."

"Thanks Aso, that's really sweet!" I waved to him as I left before placing the book in my basket and heading home.

When I got back to my apartment, I started unpacking all of the things I had gotten from the market and put my new book on the shelf. I was just about to start making lunch when I got a knock on the door. When I opened it, it was Hinata and her older cousin Neji.

"Oh, hey Hinata, hey Neji. How can I help you guys?"

"W-well... I was just wondering if you wanted to come over for lunch?" Hinata asked, poking her fingers together the way she always does. Neji rolled his eyes.

"Sure I was actually just about to make lunch anyways."

After I responded, we left for the Hyuuga compound. Hinata and I enjoyed our lunch, and then we decided to spend the rest of the day together to help time go by faster as we waited for tomorrow. Eventually, once it was dark, I headed home and slept, excited for the day ahead.

I was ecstatic when I woke up the next day. I showered, dried my hair, and then got changed, making sure I tied the headband around my arm. I walked into the classroom, and Naruto was sitting in one of the desks wearing a leaf shinobi headband. I walk up to him with a smile, curiosity glimmering in my eyes before I speak to him.

"Naruto, what are you doing here? How did you graduate?"

He just smiled and assured me that it was a secret. Just then, Sakura and Ino burst through the door, both claiming to have gotten there first. Naruto saw Sakura and he instantly perked up, blushing. Sakura looked over, smiled, ran up to the desk and promptly shoved him out of the way so she could talk to Sasuke.
