Laurie's POV

2nd week of highschool. I wanted to ask my dad something he probably don't want me to ask him.

Then I went downstairs and saw my dad at the kitchen, cooking. "Hey, dad?" "Yeah, sweetheart?" God, I didn't know how to ask him this, this is just a question, right Laurie? You were planning on asking him this since last week..

"Sweetie what is it?" He looked at me as his tone sounded more confused. Shit. "Oh uh, do you have any pictures of mom?"

Silence.

I saw dad looked away and shrugged. "Sorry sweetie, I don't. They kind of disappeared, I can't find them anywhere anymore." He said as he continued cooking.

Damn. Shouldn't have asked that. "Oh, thats fine! Don't worry about it, I was just.. curious!" I said while looking at him and smiling. Thank GOD he didn't made it a big deal.

"So, you ready for school?"
"Of course, dad."
"You're in highschool! God, you're growing up. I'm so --" I cut him off "Dad. Please don't get emotional." He started laughing and so did I.

"Alright alright, go get ready for school, my big baby girl." He kissed my forehead and patted it, I was so happy with him, although, I could've been much happier with my mom around..

"You got it!" I marched to the stairs and started getting ready. Boy this is hard.. should I just wear the uniform? Nah it'd be boring besides, it's allowed to wear civilian! I think.

"Sweetie! Let's go!" He said nearly shouting. "I'm coming!" Damn it, I'll go with the flared pants and my favorite t-shirt!

I hurriedly went outside and locked the door Incase any jerk-ass robbers come in. "I'm ready!". "Alright, let's go!"

"Hey dad, is it alright with you if I go to school with my friends sometime?
"I don't know, do they have a car?" Oh gosh, they do! It's perfect. "Yeah, they do!" I smiled thinking he would agree.

"Sure. Maybe someday you'll get to drive them to the school soon." He said as I look at him extremely confused. "What?". "You're getting a car, girl!" He said in a very poor girl voice.

I shrieked and he also shrieked which caused me to laugh. "Thank you thank you thank you, dad!!" I hugged him but he couldn't hug me back because he was driving. "No problem, sweetie!"

"We're here." "Goodbye dad!"
"Uh-uh, you're forgetting something."
"Dad. I'm in highschool." I was not ready to get embarrassed Infront of my friends. Oh, have I mentioned? They're waiting for me outside the car door.

"Come on! Last." I put my hands up in defeat. "I love you, dad." "Love you too sweetie. Have a fun day at school!" Seriously? "Dad!". "I totally meant to go!" I chuckled and opened the car door and closed it.

"Awww" the three of my friend said and judging me. "Hey! Stop that." "You and your dad get along so well! God, I'm jealous." Tom said looking up at sighing. "Yeah, I mean, me and my dad are close but not that close so to sum it up, I'm jealous too!" Gustav laughed.

"Oh, quit it! Where's bill?" I said and saw their faces looking at each other awkwardly. "Guys? What's up?"
"He's in the hallway at his locker.."
Georg almost whispered his sentence so I got more confused.

"Alright? Let's go there then." "Only not alone." Tom said not looking at me. "What do you mean?
"He's with some chick." Oh damn, did they really thought I'd get jealous? No way, Jose!

"Oh! We better not disturb them, and let's just annoy bill with the girl later if he's busy right now." I said while starting to walk. "You're not...?" Gustav said curiously. "I'm not what?"
"Jealous?" Tom finished gustav's sentence.
