Reunion (Chapter 9)

Laurie's POV

I looked at bill as he opened the door for me and gave me a reassuring smile.. You know, the kind of smile that tells me everything's gonna be alright.

I looked at the band and completely froze. I could tell they didn't know I was here so I thought this was my chance to sneak up to them and surprise them.

Before bill could speak, I cut him off with a whisper only he could hear.
"Shhh, don't tell them, i'm just gonna surprise them." I laughed mischievously while bill giving me a hug before letting me go.

The three of them were watching tv
as I walked sneakily beside them and fiddled with gustav's ear

"BOO!" I said loudly as I can in gustav's ear and laughed hard.

Gustav got up the chair and turned around to look at me, surprised.

"And then there were 2.." I laughed and the three of them immediately got out of the couch and ran to hug me.

I couldn't breathe, damn! Did they miss me this much to the point that I can't breathe?

"Alright alright! I can't breathe!"
I put my hands up in defeat.
"You don't know how much we missed you, Laurie." Georg said almost tearing up.

"Owh, come on." I hugged georg and glanced at tom.

"So." Tom said getting close to me causing bill to look at us intently, it was just tom. Nothing to worry about..
"I missed you." I smiled. Tom raised his eyebrow.

"Good. I was waiting for you to say that to me first so I wouldn't sound so.." I started to laugh. He's cute!

"Desperate?" I finished his sentence and received a smirk from him.
"And we both know I am." Tom said sarcastically and hugged me, not tight. Just perfect.

Bill glanced at us again and when tom realized, he let go of me.

Gustav cleared his throat, trying to gain back my attention. I chuckled and quickly turned to gustav.

"You and I both know that I won't be able to forget about you, 'stav." Gustav smiled and also hugged me and I hugged him back, he's such a good hugger!

Tom then took an interest on who was behind me then somehow felt surprised and looked at me and raised his eyebrows.

I noticed tom's reaction and I just laughed and nodded at him. "Good. Good." He faintly smiled and bill came up to me and gave me a back hug.

The three of them were surprised but didn't manage to say anything for the last 2 minutes. Then, georg finally spoke up.

"Are you two..?" Georg pointed his index finger to bill then to me and started doing it 5 more times.

"Well.. no." I said and saw their sad faces. I started laughing because I could tell they waited years for me and bill to get together.

"Not yet, though." Bill laughed as the other three were surprised and I just playfully hit him with my hand and let go of his touch and went outside to get something in the car. "I'll be back boys!"

And.. bill's right. not yet, though.

Tom's POV

"Are you kidding me?" I hit him with my cap and he made a noise I very much find annoying, then put my cap back on immediately.

No, is he actually kidding me? "Man, I thought she's gonna make you work for it!" I released a quick laugh. "She really must love you, huh."

Bill looked at me and into the floor. He's probably thinking or remembering something.
And how do I know? Because I'm his twin and I... Do that too. Sometimes.
