Katherine p.o.v we had been driving for 2 hours my grandma was sleeping and my sister was talking about how she missed Cousins and asking every 5 minute if we were there yet I was reading my romance novel and listening to music on my phone

After a while dad stop the car at the gas station and I hop out the car and went in I went in though out the different aisle I grabbed a bag of Cheetos a mountain due and some gummy bears I was waiting for my sister and mom to enter in to the store to pay for my items

When I saw a cute guy staring at me by the register I walked over to him and pay for my items he said are you new here I said no my family owns a beach house here he said there is going to be a bonfire tonight the first one of the season would you maybe want to go with me

I smiled and was about to say yes when me dad and grandma came over and said no I turned to them confused because my dad always let my go to these things when I was little I smiled at the cute guy and said I will think about it he winked at me and I gave him my flintiest smiled

He said this one is on me I said no you don't have I was cut off by him saying I want to I smiled and said thank you I walked out the gas station to see my mom smiling in amusement and she walked over to me and said you were totally flirting with that guy

I blushed and said so what if I was she ask what were you guys talking about I said oh nothing just this bonfire that happened on the beach she looked at me and said your not going to that bonfire I said why not she said wait till your farther get here and we will tell you what happened

After everyone was in the car mom and dad started to tell the story about what happened at the bonfire one year I wasn't listening though my mind kept drifting off to my child hold crush and long time best friend Enzo I text him we were coming to the beach house and to get me some of the good muffins

He said he would then I heard my dad said is that understood I said oh yeah he sigh and I watch as the big WELCOME TO COUSIN sign coming into view I rolled down the car window and let the salty air hit my face in the distance I could hear the ocean waves crashing against the sand

I took my hair tie off letting my dark brown hair lose and I put on my favorite reddish pinkish lipstick and saw my beautiful greenish blueish eyes twinkling in the light I smiled and stepped out the car the first person I saw was Enzo wow he looks so different and cuter

He came over picked me up and spun me around I giggled and asked him to stop he put my on the ground and said look how came back all grown up

I smiled and was about to say something when I saw Edward coming from the back door he was wearing a hoodie and long shorts I noticed his beautiful green eyes and dirty light brown hair and I just everything about him looks so different he gave me a gentle smile and said I like you better with braces I said to bad I like me better with out them

He start to ruffle my hair I smiled and then I saw my cousin Lola and Matt the daughter and son of my uncle Steven and aunt Taylor then my uncle Jere how after all this time is still single
