Katherine p.o.v I was reading a book in my room when my cousin came in and said okay I made strawberry margaritas for the star shower tonight I said don't you remember what happened last time she pouted and said I actually asked my mom this time and she said yes

I said okay she then left my room i opened my diary to a sheet of blank paper and wrote a wish down and I grabbed a envelope and put the paper in there I waited of Lola to come in and put her paper in we started she new tradition when we were 13 years old after we had finished watching originals the sequel to the the vampire diaries series anyway she came in a couple of minutes later and said hey tonight I am going to burn the letters of you know who

You might be wondering who we are talking about well at the being of jr year in high school Lola started dating Derek the high school "it guy" your typical popular guy home coming king and prom king the captain of the football team and he was the second smartest guy in the school he was not just a pretty face

They start dating and he was always so polite and caring to Lola they were call "the it couple" at school they were home coming king and queen also prom king and queen most likely to marry in the year book and they would spend Christmas,thanksgiving,Halloween, together he was the first boy Lola brought over to the house to meet our family

It was that type of relationship you only ever get once the kind of love that foolish and dizzy and doesn't know any better and doesn't want to in the end of February we were all at a house party and he got way too drunk and ended up in bed with Lola's friend the worst thing is that it was her who found them in bed and it was the night before there third year anniversary

When I hade fond her she was in her car crying I asked her what wrong and she told what happened I ended up taking her home I told my mom what happened and asked if I could stay over at her house she said yes when we got there my aunt asked what was wrong but she never told her what was wrong

But she was heartbroken for months I helped her as much as I could and Derek try for weeks to get back with Lola but she screamed at he to get out and I just so happened we were doing are Harry Potter movie marathon we were on the 5th one

And I was in the kitchen grabbing more sweet and salty popcorn and my hart just broke when she screamed at him and once he left she slid down the door crying something straight out of a movie after months she got over him and tried to date agin it went well for her she met Stefan

And then now have been dating for 3 months I am really happy for her but right now she wants to burn all the love letters that Derek wrote to her
