After I went to my desk took out my romance novel as I finish reading i stood up and put the book on the book shelf and I grabbed the poetry book that my mom gave me for my birthday gift

I turned to the page where my grandma Susannah favorite poem was I remember when I was five dad taught it to me and Cora it said

Yay today my birthday my 5 year old self said out loud I put on a beautiful pink princess dress with puffy sleeves me mommy and I pick out together

I hade a beautiful pearl crown and a matching bracelet that year auntie Ty and uncle Stevie hade come to cousins early for my birthday I went to find auntie Ty so she could do my hair I found her with my mom talking to her about a person I didn't even know at that time

As she finally finished my duchess braid she put the crown on my head and said you look beautiful Kit Kat I smiled and said thanks auntie Ty

She smiled at the party my parents pull me away from the party to give me this book they said that I was my grandmothers and that when I am older I would be able to read it
