I mostly got this idea from @auntiejibs on TikTok. Then I visited their tumbler and read about their Goldenheart Prince AU. I was reading it and I loved it so much. So basically almost all of the plot here is going to be based on their AU. But I did change some stuff up a bit. And yes, I already asked them if I could do this. So with permission, I shall finish this, beginning to end.
Some basic info to know about this AU is that Queen Valerin is infertile (I love this headcanon so much, I've seen it everywhere and I love it), and Ballister's an orphan. So yeah, piece two and two together buddy.
My own headcanon for this AU is that Ballister hates self-absorbed cocky celebrities so much. Before he was adopted and was a lower-class commoner. He wandered around the streets a lot and saw so many different celebrities just fucking around with the people who were in the same situation as him. Not once in his whole life has he seen a decent celebrity (Before he met Ambrosius).
Is it kinda maybe a random headcannon? Probably. But leave me alone...
