-Aria- Im currently making my way to the airplane. I guess ill see you in 5 years. Only people who have watched manifest will understand. Anyway, i make my way onto the airplane and go to my assigned seat. The school I'm going to has a hockey team which I'm happy about. I really like to watch hockey, i have been watching it since i was little. My dad used to play but then he became this old grumpy ugly man who cares about money and money only. And then i was born which made his life even worse i guess.
I turn on the screen in front of me, thinking about what to watch. In the end i of course decide to watch manifest. Again. Im actually obsessed with that series. I put it as-well as the headphone's on. —————————— "Hello ma'am, would you like any snacks?" The nice flight attendant asks me.
I take off my headphones giving her a little smile.
"Yes i would like some chocolate" i reply
"Here you go"
"Thank you" i take the chocolate from her and go back to watching Netflix.
After a few hours the plane finally lands. I get out of my seat getting my luggage from the overhead bins. After that i start making may way down the aisle to the airport.
After getting off the plane i head over to where they check the luggage. Its a few moments but finally they finish and i can go. I see the taxi waiting for me outside so i make my way to it.
"Hello" the driver says.
"Hello, thank you for picking me up"
"Of course it my job after all"
I make small take but after that we sit in silence.
"We have arrived miss"
"Thank you very much" i get out of the the car grabbing my bags from the trunk before making my way to the school's front gate.
I make my way through the huge doors, searching for the principal's office, as im walking around i realize how big the school actually is. I look around for a few minutes but have luck in finding the office. I see a girl walking next to me so I decide to ask her.
" hey, do you by any chance know where the principle's office is?" I ask her.
"Oh hey yes i do actually, follow me"
I follow the girl which I learned her name was carley.
"Here it is"
"Thank you so much"
"Yeah of course"
I approach the door, i knock a few times until finai hear someone. "Come in" i open the door and im met with an old lady she looks strict.
"Hello im aria Im-"she cuts me off.
"Yes yes i know who you are" she opens on of her drawers grabbing a file.
"Here you go this has your schedule for the week and your keycard for your dorm, if you need anything else you know where to find me."
"Thank you"
"Don't be late to your first class and make sure to wear the uniform you will find it on your bed"
"Yeah okay" ...
I just made it to my room, it a while cuz this place is fucking huge. But anyway i finally made it, i grab the keycard and open it. I grab all my bags and walk in the room.
I put them in the small corridor and i make my way to where the beds are supposed to be. "Hey"
"WHAT THE FUCK"
I look at the boy who was sitting on the bed.
Great first impression.
He was hot.
Anyway.
"You scared me"
"Sorry didnt mean to"
"I thought i was supposed to have a girl roomate"
"Actually you do, but me and her switched since she wanted to live with her boyfriend, but please dont snitch"
"Oh okay i guess, but i swear to god if you snore i will kill you in your sleep"
"Okay noted" he says putting his hands up in surrender.
"Im Nathan by the way"
"Aria"
"Well Aria, its very nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too"
It was kinda distracting that he was sitting there shirtless. Did I mention that he's very hot? I think i did.
Anyway.
I put my bags and open them, i grab a hoodie and some sweatpants aswell as my skincare and head to the bathroom.
I change into my clothes and take off my makeup after that i make my way to the bed where i plug in my charger to charge my phone. I get in bed turning off the night light.
"Goodnight Aria"
"Goodnight Nathan"
I keep tossing and turning but i cant fall asleep. So i decide to go out and sit by the beach. I get up from bed putting on shoes before grabbing my keycard.
I make my way down the stairs, i only see one door so i assume thats the way out. I open it slowly trying not to make any noise. After i get it open i walk out.
The sky is filled with stars and it looks so pretty.
"What are you doing out here"
"Oh my god, you keep scaring, wait are you following me? Should i be worried?"
Is my roommate a serial killer?
Oh my god i think he is.
"No i am not following you i was here first and no you shouldn't be worried, i wouldn't kill pretty girls" well thats a relief.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him while looking at the ocean.
"I come out here when i cant sleep, it's peaceful and beautiful."
"It is peaceful and beautiful"
"What are you doing here?"
"I couldn't sleep, anyway how long have you been here at this school?"
"A long time actually, since i was 13, my parents basically got tired of me so they sent me here, they were kinda shitty so i didn't really care."
"My parents sent me here too, i was a mistake they never wanted me so yeah, but i miss my friends, we were supposed to spend our senior year together."
"Well if we both have shitty parents i guess that makes us friends."
"Yeah i guess it does" i chuckle.
After that we both just sit in silence.
Comfortable silence.
