I slowly flutter my eyes open, stretching my body. I reach out to the nightstand to grab my phone before getting ready.
Oh shit.
Im late.
Its my first fucking day and I'm late.
I scramble out of bed rushing to the closet, i grab the school's skirt and a purple hoodie since i am not wearing a dress shirt and head to the bathroom.
I quickly put on the outfit and brush my hair which actually looks good. I put on a little makeup, grab my phone and backpack and head out the door.

I look around to see that there's only one seat open.
Next to Nathan. That asshole should have woken me up.
I walk toward the seat setting my stuff down. I pull out the chair to sit, once i do i scoot over to Nathan.
"Why didn't you wake me up" i whisper-yell.
"Im so sorry, i woke up early and went to the gym, i thought you'd be up by now" okay maybe he isn't an asshole.
"Oh its okay don't worry" i assure him.
I take out my notebook and pencil case.
"Okay class lets start" the teacher says as he claps his hands. "First question, in what year did the battle of the Hastings take place?"
"October 14 1066" i respond.
"As it was one of the most significant battles in English history which took place Sussex" Nathan explains.
