                                   Sloane
For the first time throughout the match, the final round gained my interest, my eyes were glued towards the field just like everyone else present in the stadium. There was pin-drop silence and all the eyes were focused on the teams, never in my life I had felt so invested in a game, especially a tennis game. The ball travelled throughout the court passing from one player to another, both the teams were standing on a falling edge right now because it was 2:2 points each. Now was the time for the last serve and scoring this point was the only way of winning. Epinephrine travelled across my body leaving me in awe.

The opponent team served the ball, and one smash was all it needed, the opponent team missed it, and Yes! We won! DAMNIT! We won! Everyone stood at their place, shouting and hooting for our team. The rest of the players rushed towards those two players who were playing in the last round and squeezed them in a group hug. Do I need to mention one of those two players was that gorgeous cat's gorgeous owner and he was the one who scored the victory point as well? I hate to admit this but he's exceptionally good at tennis. He for sure knows what he's doing, well... good for him, why do I even care?

Finally, I stood from my seat to walk away but for some absurd reason I had this out-of-the-blue urge to give one last glance to a certain lean masculine tennis player, and so I did. Shit. My eyes caught his green orbs for the fourth time in a while, why did we keep making eye contact? I'm not complaining though because He smiled at me and I could swear it wasn't a forced or sarcastic smile he genuinely smiled at me. He had a stupefyingly enchanting smile. He kept smiling until realisation surfaced and I broke eye contact. What had gotten into me? Focus Sloane!

I gazed at my watch and released an exasperated sigh. Fuck, I am so screwed. According to my schedule, I was supposed to be working right now but here I was simping over this undeniably hot guy, "Shut up" I mentally scolded myself, I really need to get out of here before I let my intrusive thoughts win. I wasn't even supposed to be here in the first place, however, that damn witch dragged me along with her.

Flash back:
I was walking back towards my dorm after getting my daily caffeine and glucose input and having an unexpected encounter with a dynamic duo of a cat and his (breathtaking) owner when I bumped into someone and guess what? Out of 8 billion people inhabiting this planet called Earth I had bumped into none other than Miss. Sasha Laurent.

Ms. Sasha absolutely hates two things, first poor people and second Me. And concurrently I was both. I was poor enough in her eyes to hate me. Can I get any lucky? Of course not. Looking at her and judging by the way she gazed at me with pure disgust I was sure she was going to fuck with me and she did.
"Miss Sloane Ivy Hale what do you think you're doing here when everyone is in the stadium right now! Do you think you got in through scholarship so you are some kind of exception!?" She yelled her lungs out at me. What could I even expect from a person who openly supports nepotism and sucks those people's asses who threw money at her face, of course, she'd hate a person like me who possibly couldn't give anything. Ms.Sasha was a woman in her late thirties, extremely fit, and really beautiful, but what's the use of such beauty when she was the ugliest person I know from the inside, she has such a nasty personality which makes her outer beauty unattractive as well, at least to me. But I couldn't afford to speak my mind with her so I opted for the submissive kid attitude, "Ma'am..." before I even replied to her or mentioned my stance she continued like I had never spoken. This Bitch. She spewed some bullshit, looked down at me like she always does, and dragged me along with her toward the stadium. I swear if it wasn't for grades I would have shown her, her real place a long time ago.

And that's how I ended up here and wasted my precious 50 minutes.
I rushed towards my dorm and entered the lobby in front of my room but before I moved ahead I saw someone standing in front of the room which was located right beside mine, previously it was not taken, but looks like someone finally got that room. I moved forward and took a closer look. It was some red-headed girl. She was wearing a simple pair of crop top and cargo jeans but carried a vintage Dior baguette bag. Her wrists were adorned with Tiffany and Co and her perfume was layered with different scents. Great another nepo baby. She probably felt my presence, because she turned around and looked at me with a wide smile plastered on her face I didn't know how to react so I just stared at her with a straight face and soon realised how attractive and pretty she was. She also had an eye-catching smile.
